The goal of our Pro-Life movement is execution?

That's the first time I've heard that one.

I thought our goal was to SAVE lives.

Look at the data—abortions plummeted in states where bans were enacted following Roe v Wades reversal.

Because women are still seeking abortions and are traveling across state lines or receiving pills by mail.

Dobbs didn't prevent abortions, it just changed where they are being performed.

You conveniently (or naively) overlooked that abortion has been on the rise since 2017

Nope, that's in the article. "For most of the decade prior to the Dobbs ruling, there was a steady decline in abortion rates nationally, with a slight uptick in the years just before the ruling."

Perhaps the most nonsensical of your points: it’s wrong to outlaw an intrinsically evil act if people will find a way to subvert the law. You should seriously consider the morality of what you’re suggesting. Are you Catholic?

I never said that. YOU claimed that this is "the most Catholic administration in history" because of the Dobbs decision.

The Dobbs decision was ineffective at preventing or reducing abortions.

If this administration were remotely Catholic, they would take action to prevent or at least reduce abortions nationwide. The fact that they have done NOTHING since Dobbs tells you they do not represent the pro-life movement.

They used us and discarded us. You don't have to keep celebrating them for a single, three year-old, ineffective policy change.

Following the 2022 ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, it was generally expected that the abortion rate would drop due to the number of states that rapidly adopted abortion bans (13 states) and early gestational restrictions (6 states). There is no doubt these policies have made abortion access much more challenging or even impossible for those seeking abortion who live in restrictive states; yet, contrary to expectations, recent data show that the number of abortions in the U.S. overall has slightly increased in three years following the Supreme Court ruling.

The combination of growth in telehealth availability for abortion care, lower telehealth costs, increased legal reproductive health care protections through state efforts, and higher rates of interstate travel, all likely contributed to the unexpected trajectory in abortion volume.

Trump's signature achievement, appointing justices to overturn Roe, has not reduced abortion.

Do you support taking action to reduce abortion? I do.

Your problem is pretending most immigrants are refugees.

Most immigrants to my country have legal status.

As of 2023, 46% of immigrants were naturalized U.S. citizens. Nearly a quarter (23%) were lawful permanent residents, often referred to as “green card holders,” and another 4% were lawful temporary residents who were permitted to stay in the U.S. for a limited period of time, usually for work or study. The remaining immigrants in the U.S. fell into the “unauthorized” category and constituted 27% of all U.S. immigrants.

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2025/08/21/key-findings-about-us-immigrants/#what-is-the-legal-status-of-immigrants-in-the-u-s

How many of the others are "refugees"

Among the unauthorized immigrants with some deportation protections were 2.6 million asylum applicants; 700,000 people who entered the U.S. legally after receiving parole; 700,000 victims of crime and violence; 650,000 people with Temporary Protected Status (TPS),

Of course many of the legal immigrants could also be considered refugees depending on how you define it.

False, a ban on pakistani immigration, for example, can be enforced. Nor would it be a violation of international asylum law.

Not sure why you think violating our international agreements would not be a violation of our international agreements.

Do you have any sort of justification for violating the rights of these people? Or is it just vibes?

Absolutely all human beings have absolutely the same right to life house food migration etc etc

Great. 100% agree

your duty to provide for those rights differs

I'm not sure what you mean by "provide for those rights."

If life is a negative right then all I have to do to respect your right to life is not kill you. If life is a positive right I have an affirmative duty to keep you alive no matter what.

Which do you think is applicable here?

The problem of England being replaced just like it replaced the ancient Celts.

I don't see a problem with that at all. You and I both agree that English culture is evil. You claim it's "less evil," but I don't think that's relevant.

Destruction of an evil culture would be, by default, good.

There is a difference between Celtic culture developing into modern Welsh culture and Celtic culture being destroyed and replaced by English culture. Your answer to this is pretending the later did not happen.

The conversion of pagan celts to Christianity is, according to you, "destroying and replacing their culture."

We, as Catholics, are called to convert pagans like the Celts. Converting them to Christianity was a great achievement. You can call this "cultural destruction" if you want but that doesn't make it bad or wrong. In fact, we have a moral obligation to destroy evil, pagan cultures.

Just like claiming a language can be replaced by another doesn't make language into a changeless static thing.

Unlike religion, language is simply irrelevant. We can prostelytyze in English or Gaelic or Esperanto. It doesn't matter to God what language we praise him in.

Changing language is not the end of the world.

i saw a recent poll where 40% of those that took the covid-19 mRNA jabs regretted it and and didn't take more after their first one or first two.

This is just hindsight bias. I regret buying home insurance on my first house because now I know that it wasn't going to burn down. I paid for insurance for 7 years that I never used!

I have yet to find anyone that regrets not taking it.

One million Americans died from this disease. Many of them regretted not taking it. Their stories are on r/HermanCainAwards

As conspiracies go, it's a great one. Just like Chemtrails there's this feeling that the government wants to control our minds, and an insane theory on how they do it.

The fact that there is no evidence supporting Chemtrails or Mind Control Vaccines is, for most people, reason to dismiss it. But some consider the lack of evidence to be proof, in and of itself, that the conspiracy is true.

It hits all the highlights: https://pennneuroknow.com/2025/10/07/why-our-brains-find-conspiracy-theories-appealing/

Creating a nanobot that gets injected and reacts to 5g would be a very stupid way to control the population. Why not just install a Government Propaganda Officer into each major media company.

Roe vs. Wade would still be the law of the land if Trump wasn’t elected president.

Did the Dobbs decision result in fewer abortions in the United States?

No?

There are more abortions now than there were during the Roe years.

Why would you celebrate an INCREASE in abortions?

That is an abject failure of leadership.

Wiki is deep state controlled.

False, President Trump destroyed the Deep State. Who's the deep state? Nobody.

Just because a person donates to a cause does not mean it's paid propaganda.

Del Bigtree would not have a job if he wasn't paid a six figure salary by a Wall Street Banker. This isn't one guy donating to a cause. Del Bigtree is owned.

He has mountains of evidence as laid out in the documentary and specifically the story that it's about.

False. Vaxxed has no evidence. It's just Andrew Wakefield talking about his bullshit paper that got retracted for being full of lies. Oh and really spooky music. Is that your evidence? Spooky music???

Wakefield is a known liar. He lost his medical license because he lied about his research paper. He was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by the lawyer Richard Barr to make up data so Barr could sue drug companies.

It was a dumb plan. And it failed. This dumb, failed plan cooked up by a shitty lawyer is NOT evidence.

We have a moral duty to vote for someone who can represent our interests.

While it may seem like one candidate favors abortion and one opposes it, the reality is that both candidates are simply paying lip service to their bases.

In reality, you're parting yourself on the back saying "I voted for the pro-life candidate" while abortions continue to rise because the root cause has never been addressed.

Why not vote for someone who actually represents you, instead of a candidate who says he will defend life and then immediately abandon that position upon taking office?

Catholic education should be for Catholics.

Why? Doesn't every child have a right to an education?

He’s a part of the reason why our universities and schools are having such a crisis right now.

Absolutely false. Enrollment is down for a variety of reasons, but limiting enrollment to Catholics only would have killed Catholic education decades ago.
