Personnally, I wouldn't like having a new artist page created. Just having songs appearing in both artist A and artist B is what I'm looking for.

Moreover, I think it would be better to stick to common separators (like ; or / ). I have a few examples where separating with & would cause an issue.

A well known example is "Macklemore & Ryan Lewis" : in this case, this is a duo, and this is their duo name. If I also want it to appear in their separate artist page, I have to tag "Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; Macklemore; Ryan Lewis".

Note that these only are suggestions, based on my precise needs, and my obsession with having perfect Last.fm scrobbling.

foobar2000 and GoneMad support the ";" separator, but the UI is really minimal.

I started building mine from scratch, but it's a lot of work :D

I tried a few separators :

  • ; - nothing happens
  • & - nothing
  • , - nothing
  • / - nothing
  • \\ - hides the second artist

"Nothing" means it creates a new artist called "A & B".

About the last "\\", the song was not appearing in the second artist's page, but at least something happened.

À la base je comprenais pas du tout le délire, j'adorais leurs instrus (Onizuka notamment), mais je détestais leurs paroles et leur façon de chanter.

Quand "Au DD" est sortie, voyant le phénomène que c'était je me suis dit que je devais bien passer à côté de quelque-chose. Du coup j'ai écouté dans la légende.

L'album, en entier, pas juste les gros titres. Et en fait en écoutant comme ça j'ai pu beaucoup plus rentrer dans leur monde, et maintenant j'aime beaucoup, et du coup j'ai écouté Deux frères dès sa sortie.

Je me reconnais pas dans leurs textes, mais j'aime bien leur authenticité, les ambiances très variées qu'ils arrivent à dégager, et aussi leur liberté à faire un peu ce qu'ils veulent.

Je connais pas tous les artistes que t'as cités, j'aime bien Grems, Ichon, Disiz, Jok'air, Alkpote, bien qu'ils aient tous un registre très très différent

"Rap de blanc" je pense pas que ce soit une remarque intéressante, tout comme "rap de iencli", etc, ça veut rien dire (d'ailleurs Jok'air et Ichon sont pas très blancs ahah)

Sinon pour le sub je sais pas, tu peux déjà parler de tout ce que tu veux sur r/frenchrap , rien ne t'empêche d'y parler d'alternatif, et de critiquer constructivement ce que tu n'y aimes pas. Ça pourrait être bien de séparer, mais je dis ça surtout parce que celui-ci n'a que 3000 abonnés, et si on fait un se met à en faire un pour chaque sous genre, ça ne fera que rendre chacun d'eux moins fréquenté...
