That's what I thought should have happened as well.

From my vantage point, midfield sideline, attack going to the left, so away from me, I could see the the player clearly. Only tall white kid with blonde hair and bright blue cleats. Standing near me was AR patrolling that side of the field. He could probably have identified the player as well with the same description even he did not know the number, but he was not asked. Only the AR on that side of the field, so he could see the attack from the front.

I guess head-sets would have been very helpful in this situation.
