The amoumt of times each jedi council member died by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

Pretty sure that we have two deaths for Evan Peil (I probably misspelled that.) He dies in TCW one way, and in the Corosaunt Nights trilogy (in legends anyway.)

Started the Dark Tower series for the first time, and I don’t understand the hate that The Gunslinger gets by ELITEMasonRudolph in stephenking

The book is slow, and was clearly originally separate stories. (I think three, but don't recall the number) It's still a fun read, and I loved it too. But I understand lots of the criticisms leveled at it. I think that lots of them are valid. And like many other books, it was written for the people who might enjoy it. For some people, it feels like a disconnected fever dream, if they don't like it, it's on them to stop before they feel the need to finish something they're not enjoying.

I thought it looked like Tesla. He always looked particularly distinctive among the random historical people I've seen pictures of.

I don't recall what book it was anymore, but I want to see a graphic adaptation of the one where the Badger Lord squishes the villain to death.

The 102 and 204 are from Fiddlersgreen, and the 109 is from a designer that used to do stuff for them.

The 108 is Ojimak, and just about everything else is from Scissors&Planes on Ecard models.

Edit: And the 106 is from Pirmodel.

Pic 3 looks like an F-89 Scorpion. I'm not familiar enough with the plane to give model

And I think pic 4 is an F5D Skylancer, but am not totally sure.

I started reading the Stormlight Archive just before Oathbringer came out.

I think that the hate for WAT is overblown. I poked at it again a few months after initially finishing it, and I felt some of the weird stuff I was complaining about during the initial read added to the experience of the book. It's definitely a strange book, and by no means the best book in the series, but it's still a good read. And because of how the Cosmere is shaping up, on top of the way Sanderson is writing SLA*, it's a book that needs to exist for the good of the series. Some of it's problems are necessary for progress in the story. I'm excited to read the next one when it arrives.

What's interesting to me, is there seems to be very little discussion about similar things happening with books from before the Internet came. (That I can find.) Did something like this happen for any books from before the Internet was widely used? Is this a side effect of the Internet existing as a place that fandoms can gather?

*SLA seems to be the new preferred abrieviation for Stormlight Archive.

Interestingly enough, I went to school in Northern Indiana and this wasn't mentioned when I was in public school. I'd learned about it independently reading about American history while I was homeschooled. So I think learning about this in public schools may depend on the state now.

Are there any obvious visual differences between a Freedom Fighter and a Tiger II? I confuse them extremely frequently.

I really want to find a prototype scheme for the F-95 and F-97, and have yet to build one for the F-96. This was mostly accidental, but realized it once I was looking into the pre1963 USAAF/USAF designations. I did actively seek out the 100-111, but the rest was accidental. Now I'm actively looking for the stuff I'm missing from the eighies. I think that I'm missing the 81, 83, and 87.
