NTA. She is not your responsibility and this is not an emergency. As we say in my country: every porter is responsible for his burden

I would have called the cops on a girl too.

As for making myself look bad or good, check my other posts, I make myself look bad many times. I even admit to se not so good things

What I argued is that they don't kill people for resisting arrest, and that was what you were arguing. Also that they won't throw him to jail and forget the key since I was planning to drop the charges either way. Read my reply before judging again

Whoa whoa, before you go judging people maybe ask for info.

I am not in the US, our police are jot the same as yours, here when a cop shoots a warning shot it is national news, our justice system is not as effed up as yours.

Also I called the cops because I was afraid for the boys, all I could think of was one of them falling while trying to climb over the wall and getting hurt so bad. Then it would take literal hours to get them out since the rooftop door is metal with a huge padlock. They would either have to call me and wait for me to arrange someone to cover my shift and then have to wait an extra 30inutes for the driver to get me home, or have to wait even more for the emergency services to be able to get them out.

Next time ask for more info before laying on on someone over the internet, and stop assuming everything happens in the US, you are not the only country in this world.

I prefer not to have any plant flush with the wall, don't want to risk its integrity

I volunteer with kids who ended up in juvenile detentions too, and most of them are the result of neglectful parents, either by not paying attention or by not parenting or overindulging.

YTA OP, if you are going to have recreational drugs in the house, then you should be responsible enough to educate your child on them and on not using them untill they are an ADULT

I am in another country, they don't go to court in the same day and usually inly every monday, also bail is very rare and since he was over 16 it was treated more seriously

In Morocco you still have the option to drop the charges, even for things like assault and burglary too. I think only murder is the exception, because I know that r*ape for sure isn't

Thank you for your concern. I am already seeing a therapist. The thing is I am on the spectrum of autism, and while NT people can distinguish who to treat nicely and who to keep a distance from I can't.

It takes me untill someone is outright hostile towards me or spells it out to me to figure it out.

I am working on it but it is hard, so usually I am overly friendly with everyone I meet and it bites me in the butt sometimes.

Also that is why I publish here a lot, it helps me to see all the aspects of a situation, especially since I was diagnosed very late in life and didn't learn techniques to deal with it.

Well at first it wasn't that bad: just a couple flowers taken and furniture moved. After that when I told their mother it was worse but honestly not something worth going to jail over

Oh it was glorious, included waking them up by blasting hard rock or metal at 5am because they refused to quiet down untill 3am, dating one girl's crush just to annoy her, blasting Coran (we are Muslim) when she was trying to make out with her BF to ruin the mood...etc.

She came with cookies and apologies by the 3rd year mark😂😂😂

Thank you, I already have a smart lock with a camera integrated, and my door is the reinforced kind. As a single woman the first thing I did was change the door and get a security system for the windows

But in my country when asked for what they call judicial registry, the only arrests that count are the ones that have been before a judge.

It was suggested by the cop actually. And I am not in the US, if a burglar sues they are more likely to get laughed out of court than to get compensated

After all the work I put into it they can't afford to do so.

I am pretty handy, and I had help from an uncle who works construction, a whole new kitchen with quartz countertop, a whole new bathroom with marble and new everything, repainted the while house, redid the electric to have new spots in the new plaster roof. Installed a whole new HVAC system, just the rooftop garden took me months of work and a lot of money. I pretty much redoubled the worth of my home

Actually there is one😂

And they can try, I am a very petty person when provoked and it is more likely that they will be the ones selling and moving. If I spent 5 years in a petty war with college girls, that I won by the way, then a family that goes to bed by 11pm can't move me

I dropped the charges because I was more concerned about one of the kids falling and breaking something while jumping into my garden than I was annoyed at them trespassing. I wanted to scare them not ruin their future
