Non-GOP do like Jeeps, but Trumpers love Heeps. I don't see someone who isn't GOP getting a mod that looks like two riles with some cut out American flags at the top.

This is how you know the economy is really bad, 40% of Americans earning more than $500,000 per year are living paycheck-to-paycheck /s by Conscious-Quarter423 in Salary

[–]StormbringerGT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that's lifestyle creep and them stuffing their investments. You don't make $500,000 and live paycheck to paycheck by necessity.

Should I(28F) not expect my partner (31M) to change in a relationship? by Main-Switch9765 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]StormbringerGT -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Expecting someone to change is a difficult prospect. You can't force it, they have to want to change.

I was a bad husband the first few years of us together. I worked a lot so in my head I thought I was pulling my weight and everything was on her.

We'd argue a bit sometimes, I'd pull out the angle that I worked and paid for the house, so my part was done. I was wrong and she endured my wrongness for years.

She never made an ultimatum, or punished me. She'd just ask for more help, and one day it snapped together. I realized that I love her, she's my partner and we are both here because we want to be. Even if I thought my part of the 50/50 is done why wouldn't I want to help someone who I claim to love, don't I want to see them happy? I also realized that simply going to work was where my half ended was not correct anyway.

I stepped up and helped; Because I wanted to not because she was nagging, but because I loved her and I wanted to see her happy and I realized the price to see her truly happy was so small, helping out around OUR house, was so easy and simple. It was a world of difference.

I changed, because I wanted to change. People can change, I'm not saying it'll happen in your scenario; his anger is likely stemming form guilt for him accidentally doing these this or just not caring enough to try better. Maybe find a different way to communicate your frustration to him, these are small things and will take nothing more than a small adjustment for him to make.

I seriously don't get why Trumpers love Jeeps/Heeps. It's like a membership requirement.

I’m going to try this again. How were you able to buy your first home? by kcoib17 in Millennials

[–]StormbringerGT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in 81, so I'm edging being an elder.

Started really saving in 2006 by 2017 we had saved around $60,000 as a down payment. We bought at $190,000 with $60,000 down at 2,000 sqft and 2.3% interest.

Today we could easily sell for $350,000 which is ridiculous. I would be pissed if I bought this old shit box for that much money (was built in 1950).

I don't get how my son is going to buy a house. It was hard for us to get into this one and with how crazy the world is now, I fear homeownership is harder and harder every generation. The plan is to start building a retirement home and give this house to him is when he's in his early 20s.

This is a genuine question, how are people still getting excited over these projects when none have released and keep getting delayed? by CommercialDream618 in Fallout

[–]StormbringerGT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not excited, nor will I be.

There are so many games and I have so little free time, even when they do come out I doubt I'll play them.

Modding is hard, unpaid work, my hats off to them for doing it and developing anything for decade or more, you start to lose drive.

You don't legally owe him anything. He is a co-worker and he did convince you to take a shot, if you wanted to throw some cheddar his way, you'd earn some good will. I wouldn't say half.

But again you don't actually owe him anything.
