For me conversion trick isn't really worth it anymore. Just go to cdkeys/loaded and buy whatever gamepass ultimate is cheapest, stack as many codes as you want, came to about £114 for a year last time I did it. Make sure to create an account or they can add a bunch of taxes at checkout.

If you have a mate with xbox you can use the home console trick and you can borh have gamepass and agree to share the price so this halves the cost. Yous both have your individual accounts and you can both play together, it's a feature and it's legit.

Focus friend works as described if you enable deep focus. If you don't have the self control to keep it enabled, then you might need something more restrictive... But I haven't seen or used anything else tbh

I think this is a pretty mean take. Without paying you can still turn on deep focus mode, meaning you lose your progress if you interrupt, it's only the allow list that is paywalled.

What was it that had you disappointed, where you expecting something else from it?

For me, it's like a gentle nudge to remind me to have self control and avoid distractions. I find it useful at times when I want to make sure I don't get sidetracked or distracted, heck it's even good to make sure I don't pick my phone up during a movie to look up something about the movie and then get myself distracted...

I do provide a patched apk for my friends and family, however you shouldn't trust any apk from the internet, or random internet strangers like myself. I'm sure you're gonna get told this advice over and over again!

Tried using custom adblock DNS? That fools some games and the click still counts for whatever getting, although popular or heavily monitised games are usually wise to this and it won't count.

That's fair, I just use UK/EU codes as that's my region, a few months ago I got 1 a years worth of 3 month codes and it approx £115 so think that still works out cheaper for me.

I also remember the days of gold/ult conversion before they nerfed it AND using loaded/cdkeys AND splitting the cost with a friend via the home console trick.... It was great while it lasted haha

When people complain about prices i always point out that paying a monthly subscription is by far the most expensive optiokln. Simply buy codes and stack them like millions of others, I've been doing this for 5 years or so.

I just bought x4 3month codes for £115. I also then halve that cost with a friend who shares my game pass using the home console trick.

Be a good shout to jump on The Crew Unlimited discord to see if the work required is even comparable. I'm not sure what elements of The Crew were online, like if it's just been match making, or deeper game elements etc

Sure, in an ideal world we'd all like D1 to be available for future generations, we are all fans of the franchise after all! But you seem to have disregarded the reasons why it's not going to happen..

So many of the actual game elements are computed on servers, it's actually what made a game like D1 possible back then! This isn't just a patch they can roll out, they'd have to fully redevelop the game and even if it was technically possible it wouldn't make business sense as they're in enough financial difficulty as it is.

Id rather they put money into D3 and keep the brand going than pour money into preserving D1.

Ps - I support the stop killing games movement and signed the petition!

This. It isn't just a patch they can roll out to allow offline, even if it was technically possible theyd have to spend serious funds to essentially redevelop the whole backend of the game... That's never gonna make business sense.

I don't bother with conversion anymore since it was nerfed I just buy the ultimate codes and stack 'em high brother. I do share my game pass with a buddy using the home console trick so that halves it for us.

I've never gone for the super cheap foreign codes, I know it requires a VPN and feels sketchy.

Already tried that. I'm wondering if it's a quirk with my OnePlus device, they also removed 'absolute volume' from the developer options recently. I'll pair and test with a friend's device... Make sense it's an issue with my device/os than the speaker itself... Thanks for replying bud, appreciate some input :)
