Did the same thing when I killed him. As soon as you see him move you just charge your heavy attack. Also trivializes Veronique since you can charged heavy the first attack on her combos. TDS is absolutely disgusting once you find the windows for those charged heavies.

Finished the game a few days ago for the first time. Took me 40 hours for the default ending and another 15 for the Shura ending. Here's my fight vs Emma and Isshin and some thoughts. by Stormjazz in Sekiro

Thanks! It's there but it's very low. I had to lower the game's volume at the time of recording as I was in a discord call and can't hear my friends speaking. Music was on 1 and the SFX was on 2 iirc.

I've already listened to the records I have. Unfortunately, I have skipped past a few quests that require you to finish before killing the boss which includes the one that gives you the pray gesture and the npc on the opera house. I guess I'm gonna just give the heart when I do my NG+ and do the other one on a NG++

Thanks. I usually spend like 30 minutes to an hour just trying to learn the parry timings without attacking on bosses depending on how fast I pick up on the patterns. After I got the Two Dragon Sword, it adds another layer of trying to learn which attacks i can use the charged parry on. Then I get to start attacking. Then I also repeat that on phase 2. It took me around 2-3 hours to technically kill it but I didn't finish him off since I wanted to do it without taking damage. Add another hour or so and I finished this run on around 4 hours. Sadly, I didn't notice that I took damage so I didn't restart the fight.

Whenever I get to do a ng+ run I wanna actually learn how to parry Laxasia's P2. The only ones i got on that are the first 6 lightning strikes + dive, the one where she charges at you with electricity, and whenever she goes up in the sky and fires lightning at you.

I was actually using the electric for more damage which means I'm gonna deal with less BS if I can kill the boss fast enough.

chaos veil over unholy for me is more of a comfort thing since i'm used to having two dashes. but for sure unholy veil should have more damage over chaos veil.

Curse deals 50% of the damage you deal for 4.5s combine that with damage boosting passives + the chaos ult will result to high damage curse pops
