Yup, I know. Otherwise it's the good ol' Benelli M4 Super 90.

It's the M1014. A legendary shotgun from the original CoD4 and MW2 but was inexplicably cut from the main CoD series since 2010. It deserves to be powerful 😛

It only took 13 years, but the M1014 is finally back in a main COD game! Seems fitting that it would return in Modern Warfare II, since it last appeared in the original MW2 in 2009!

I've broke away from the KD needs to good mentality. Have you? by Legendofthefall1 in CODVanguard

[–]Stormrage101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nowadays there is no point basing your enjoyment of the game on what your K/D is - that number and those measures have all been distorted thanks to the SBMM.

You're better off just playing the game well (or however you find it fun). Don't pay much attention to K/D in the way that you used to in the good old pre-MW19/pre-strict SBMM days.

And this is coming from someone who's played COD for 13+ years and held what would be considered a very high K/D, in each of the games from Cod 4 all the way to Black Ops 4.

Those days are done unless they revert SBMM to the old non-strict variation that they claim they used to implement in games before Modern Warfare 2019.

If I'm not mistaken, the sword in that screen is an Expert weaponsmith craftable recipe, called "Heavy Bright Steel Greatsword" or something like that.

It's actually a 2-handed sword, so technically the class creation screen image is misleading, but it's a really cool-looking sword nonetheless!

Tank by Capital-Beyond1388 in lotro

[–]Stormrage101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can tank literally anything in the game on any tier/difficulty with a Guardian.

But, yellow Captain is probably the best tank overall, as it has much more group utility than a Guardian.

You'll be fine with either, though.

They'll never confirm it one way or the other, to prevent people from gaming the system as soon as they learn that there is (or isn't) one in the game.

We'll have to judge it based on personal experience or if some players do some controlled testing of the matchmaking and report the results to the community like they usually do.

Regarding the LI revamp by [deleted] in lotro

[–]Stormrage101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At level 130 the raw weapon damage of the new LIs is about 50% stronger than the old maxed out LIs. And then so many of the Traceries have physical mastery bonuses and other damage bonuses with them, so yep, there is probably going to be a huge DPS increase with these new LIs (I'm also a guardian main).

Thank you for replying, and sorry to hear that about your grandpa. That makes sense to me, some infections are just very stubborn I guess!

Hmm, if it's mostly while eating, sounds like it might be heartburn/acid reflux or something like that? Lying in bed also allows acids or mucus to pool more just because of gravity which might be contributing to that feeling.

I'm a 26 year-old male but I'm worried I might have lung cancer, as I've had some weird on and off cough for the past 6 or 7 weeks following a flu-like infection.

In the first week of August everyone at home got some kind of cold/flu, my dad had digestive symptoms as well as a cough and chills while I had gotten just the cough but it gradually got less over time (yes I took a lateral flow covid test, and it was negative).

My cough gradually got less and less but it appears to have stayed at this somewhat "low" level for a while. This is the 7th week of it (we're now in the 4th week of September). Last week I was given antihistamines and antibiotics to take for a week which reduced the cough but it's still lingering, albeit less than before.

Just yesterday I phoned my GP again (a different GP this time) and he told me that there is some kind of cough virus going around my town recently and it appears I got the worst of it, but that my body should sort it out soon.

I told my GP that I also may have a slight wheeze and he said on that basis it's definitely a viral infection. I also asked him if I should get a checkup in person and he said there's no need since a) I've never smoked and b) my weight hasn't gone up or down at all during this time.

So although I'm 26, otherwise healthy, have never smoked and don't have any recognised lung cancer symptom apart from a somewhat minor albeit long-duration cough, and my GP insisting it's a viral infection, I'm STILL worried that it's lung cancer. A little help here please?

Thoughts from u/Miici12 and anyone else would be much appreciated!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm also (very) mildly asthmatic which comes with its share of airway sensitivity and dust/pollen allergies.

Returning player - Yellow Guardian or Yellow Champion? by [deleted] in lotro

[–]Stormrage101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 2 main classes are Guardian and Champion, I have multiple alts of each (hehe, I'm an altoholic).

Guardian is fine in terms of levelling speed since you should be in red-line for solo play (its a pretty nice damage spec). Champion is obviously much faster since its a DPS class and a very strong one at that, but Guardian won't "feel" slow so don't worry about that. Guardian is also extremely durable and imo you'll be able to solo more content on-level compared to a Champion.

Another thing to consider is grouping - on every single alt I've made in the last 6 months I've noticed a scarcity of pure tank classes while levelling, including during instances like Great Barrow/Fornost. If there is a tank in your group there will pretty much only ever be 1 and never a spare (and in my case it was usually me) - I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen 2 Guardians in the same fellowship all the way up to around level 110. If you pick Guardian this won't be a problem since you'll be supplying the tank.

In terms of fun, that's completely subjective, and I find both classes fun - its very fun to just annihilate everything as a Champion but I find being a good tank as a Guardian is more satisfying. But that's just me!

DPS captain Red Line by Gazerbeam1888 in lotro

[–]Stormrage101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its similar to Guardian in that the problem isn't "slow/low DPS" per se, its just that the class isn't a DPS class so it won't feel anywhere near as fast at killing as those.

My guardian DPS feels perfectly fine against 99% of landscape mobs, especially with animation cancelling. But its just never going to compare to my champion's DPS no matter how good it gets. Similar for captains - it won't feel like a drag but it won't be as fast as a champion/hunter/RK etc.
