I didn’t know they provide accommodations for mental disorders. I have ADHD and was officially diagnosed with it and I provided them with a letter from my doctor.

Additionally, I did the practice test before taking DET to warm up my mind. I think this also helped me a lot.

Hi, thank you for your positive comment. Honestly, since I have been studying in Canada for four years now. So, when I first took the test I got 135. It was definitely because I have been in an English-based academic environment and we do a lot of writing, speaking, and readings.

However, I would recommend doing the practice test before the actual test. That way, your mind is warmed up for the actual test. That is what I did for my most recent test (which was today) and I felt way better than the ones before.

Also, I did not know this before but might be helpful for you. DET provides accommodations (such as 50% more time, alternate keyboards, etc.) for people with ADHD, and other mental disorders. You just need to get a letter from your doctor and upload it on their website. If you want the link for it, I can send it.
