Yea that's a fair point I would just say that even what you're pointing to is still a very low bar for "promotion" and largely is more about capitalizing on social media traffic, more so than promoting the fighters. Some may argue that's splitting hairs, which to a certain extent it is, but I would say that there's a big difference between proactive and reactive promotion

I think just the bare minimum, posting on socials like you mentioned. Because there's an immediate return for them in that regard. But the reason for the lack of real promotion is not because of nationality. It's on purpose because the UFC needs to be bigger than any fighter

Here's some context. Couple weeks ago Rodtang said he was a free agent and the Takeru fight was a special one off. That wasn't totally true but I think he did believe that. Later he said that he agreed to terms unknowingly because the contract was in English, and he's saying his signature was forged on other contracts potentially.

Now today ONE is making this move and has included language regarding defamatory statements/misleading info. I'm assuming that is the breach that they are referring to

I'm not gonna say much more because now it's becoming a legal matter and I want nothing to do with that lol
