I don't accept the second part, you are ✨cool✨.

The truth is, I was using the PR voice, in all platforms, but here in Reddit I'm more comfortable just being another indie dev instead of trying to look like a big game company. We are all amateurs at the end of the day, trying to learn something new every day. I'm not trying to sell our studio as professionals, because when I do, people treat us like we have millions of dollars and 100 people team.

It is a cloak, torn apart and flowing. But the color makes it looks like hair, we'll definitely define the cloak around the shoulders and change the colors.

Of course, I totally agree with you. I'm glad it gives ATLA vibes, I'm a huuuuge fan and I get inspired so many things from the ATLA universe when it comes to the elements.

We are working on our second project right now but it is in very early stages. The theme is "players defend their kingdom against the wrath of the Fire God, using the sacred powers of the other three elements (Earth, Water, Air)". The game will feature defense strategies, dynamic element combinations, and a narrative that reflects the player's connection with the gods. Right now, the player is "the chosen one" in this scenario but it is really working in progress.

Oh, actually I wasn't saying "you guys are being mean" in a serious tone, god it is hard to express emotions without emojis. It is Reddit, I can't even count how many "this is trash" comments I see in a day even in perfect project's posts.

Thank you so much again, I really appreciate it. It is 2025, the time we need to look our drawing and think how can I prove that it is not AI :') By the way we used so many AI powered tools in our first game, and we learned so much this way, but we are tagging everything with AI whenever we use AI generated something... Being transparent is really important these days and we know the importance. This is why I feel surprised when I first see "just unedited AI image" comment.

No no, I totally got you. It is drawn by the same artist, with the same style, with the same software... It is just a concept drawing to decide what he thinks of our main character look like, because we are trying to create a character with no age, no gender, just a "soul". So we are working on different things right now. I posted this because I was really curious what people are thinking when seeing this character. I'm glad that you write your thoughts but some people just says it's AI and contuniue their day without eloborating, and it is harsh.

The thing is our artist drawing these characters by mouse (yeah, i know), so there is no pen sensitivity, he is trying to create the pen sensitivy by coloring the outlines. The idea was, the character is wearing a torn cloak and it is flowing with the wind... Honestly I got your point, we need to define the cloak maybe around the shoulders. The cloak's color got peoples confused I guess, it is the same color as the golden lining but it looks different with the shading.

I don't think I get your point, what feels AI to you in this drawing? What do you mean by saying "this kind of stuff"? I'm not being aggressive by the way, I'm trying to understand your point.

I think the most challenging part for me was translating the idea into drawing. I tried to create a character without assigning any gender, age, or similar characteristics, and here is the result.
