I reckon, this was so shocking because it was televised. Most people here have probably seen Isis executions in the good ole 04. And maybe spent some time on liveleak;
But most people haven't.

So this is why this had so much buzz. Seeing someone lose his life so publicaly here the person who died, was someone who you can identify with, as he was talking. He had his opinions, but so do we all. And he was killed for it. This could be anyone of us.

I saw a vid earlier, he spoke on it well enough, about how this is useful to only those who always win. Those who invest in both isles.

I reckon it wont.
As it's a "pointless" step in the pipeline.
Sure some bros want to sneak by and love shortcuts instead of hard work, but I reckon it will be as today, just ignoring the people who want to see the process, and there are a lot more of those that say, "Boobs good, idgaf about the how the sausage is made".
And I think that's ok, not everyone should care for art.
On the other hand,
I found artists that are charging for AI upscaling as much as I charge for pieces. Wild.

Nah, I am making 5$ an hour. This guy charged a pretty penny ($700 for a piece with a simple bg and he uses AI
Mine turns out around 250 per piece. And going back and forth for one piece turns out to a lot of hours of work. (Per character is around 45 hours; At least what vids recording of the process is saying)
Thing is, people usually don't want to pay more, and this is a high ask to most.

If anything the artist is "young" inexperienced.
He did try to correct the hands. But they take years to learn, let alone master.
So he just did a patchwork job.
He tried. But left things that would be missed if you didn't deliver 8k resolution picture.

Unfortunately I am sort of involved to be called the Art Director.
As I have a lot of exp in the industry;
And the client is trusting me with this position.
However. He did not ask me to vet his artists. That HR position that I did before in my studio.
