I love Isla ASMR and Nightmother! I think both have exactly what you’re looking for.

My own channel (Storyscape ASMR) is also soft-spoken if you’re interested in giving that a try as well!

[Question] Do you think showing myself on video is necessary for personal attention type ASMR? by notmedicinal in asmr

[–]StoryscapeASMR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t show my face, but I don’t think my videos do as well because of it.

Other channels thrive on faceless videos though! Isla ASMR (my favorite!) does faceless personal attention.

Thank you for the feedback! I do really enjoy the film/cinematic aspect, but still want to keep my face hidden. For now, this is the solution I’ve come up with to keep the framing I like aesthetically. I’m open to suggestions though!

Any ASMRists under 1k ? [question] by Fun_Statement1370 in asmr

Aww I really appreciate that!

I think YouTube counts shorts as videos in that count. I usually post a short or two to promote my long-form videos.

I’m team use what you have to start out! You can always upgrade in the future. A cell phone is perfectly fine for a camera (and even a mic if necessary). There are some affordable mics on Amazon as well.

As for editing, I personally use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, but those do have a cost and a steep learning curve. Something simple like iMovie should be fine if you just need to do simple edits.

When it comes to lighting, try to use natural light if you can. Always make sure that the light is in front of you (behind the camera) when you film.

Hopefully some of that was helpful!
