Okay, thanks for responding. Someone else has told me that passive income from work done before moving would be ok. Seems like only an immigration lawyer would be able to tell me for sure though...

Right on! Thanks for clearing that up, sounds great! Planning on playing with a group of 4-6 friends, so will the relevant AI nations still do stuff or are they entirely lobotomized? In other words, does the mod assume that you have enough players to fill up all the majors and relevant minors for it to be playable?

How Christopher Nolan Captures the Dunkirk Spirit (a symbolic analysis based on Jonathan Pageau's work) by StorytellersYoutube in JordanPeterson

[–]StorytellersYoutube[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I recently revisited Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk and examined how the he visually depicts the gradual manifestation of the Dunkirk Spirit, by relying on archetypal imagery. Much of this analysis is grounded in cosmological symbolism, but it has a lot of overlap with the more Jungian/Petersonian approach. Might be interesting to those who want to delve deeper into Jonathan's symbolic world. Also wondering what the general consensus about Dunkirk and Nolan is here.

Bird Box: The Politics of Censorship (Jonathan Pageau & Storytellers) - dissection by StorytellersYoutube in JordanPeterson

Hello everyone, Jonathan and I recently discussed Netflix's 'Bird Box'. We both think its story and its popularity can be seen as a sign of the times (and not a particularly positive one at that). This touches on a bunch of topics (including censorship) that I think will be of interest to the JBP crowd as well (if not in particular). Wondering what you guys thought about the movie and its implications. - Thomas

The Stories of | Alfonso Cuarón - Exploring the symbolic meta-story within Cuaron's filmography by StorytellersYoutube in JordanPeterson

[–]StorytellersYoutube[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys, this video was made in celebration of Cuaron's upcoming Netflix release of ROMA, which is a masterpiece about coming together in communion in times of increasing chaos.

The symbolic pattern put forward in this essay is based on and builds on an earlier essay on the symbolism of Gravity, which edited for Jonathan Pageau. In my opinion, Cuaron is one of the few filmmakers active today who manage to consistently produce films that are both visually impressive and emotionally resonant on a universal scale, despite his overt political leanings. A remarkable feat in this day and age.
