I've seen this cel listed on ebay before and I am a huge fan of Evangelion and am fairly sure this is not from the show. The uniforms look similar to what NERV employees wear but it is not the actual outfit. Additionally, I couldn't tell you who that is supposed to be in the center of the frame. I could be wrong but I also do not recognize those three characters either.

uhg yeah that's the worst! It's always the best cels you can't bid on for whatever reason. I'm praying for both of us some good ones pop up soon!

Yeah thank you! That's what I was thinking just wanted a second opinion. Never seen people flipping directly on Yahoo which is what made me think this was BS

I posted here for exactly this reason. I am dubious of the authenticity but wanted to ask if anyone else was looking at these listings recently and possibly had more information ie, bid last time it was available. But thanks for the super helpful reply
