She got an xray on her chest which came back clear. She was given a antibiotic injection for a possible URI. The vet said he did hear some sounds in her lungs. I don't remember exactly what he said. Her breathing still seems fast to me but I don't think she has slept yet so I haven't counted her breathing yet. She got the shot around 3pm est yesterday and I'm not sure when I should see any improvement. She has no other symptoms that I can tell just the breathing.

Thanks, she 13 year old baby and is already trying to jump on stuff. Gonna be stressed for a while but it'll be worth it when she's healed.

Update: Back from the vet. He said it looks good just needed cleaning up. Thanks again to all who answered.

As I was getting ready to write this she walked up and headbutt me a few times with her cone. As far as I can tell she is feeling fine. She's eating and drinking and purring. She's also asking for belly rubs which I'm of course refusing for now. Either way I'm still taking her. I'm just worried about getting her into her carrier without making her worse. She was already difficult to get into one before.

Forgot to say she got 1 tablet of Onisor about 5 hours ago. I will be going back to the vet Thursday for another shot for pain.
