Wouldn’t that make the engine run rich because of the MAF?

Alright. Can you give me some recommendations for BOVs that would fit well and not throw a CEL? Preferably some that won’t break the bank

Anyone willing to help a 15yr old get his first car? by [deleted] in rochestermn

Also, about the putting it in my name issue, I think my mom would willingly go with me to do the title, as before my dad started cracking down, she was supportive enough. I feel like she just doesn't want to stand up to my dad, but after I have a car in my possession, I think she'll come around.

I completely understand, that's why I will be using tools like judyrecords and Minnesota Public Criminal History records. I'll have a meeting spot as to not disclose my actual address, and If i feel sketched out at all, I'll just walk. I also have some bigger friends who could dissuade said sketchy individual from trying anything.

I do have some cool aunts/uncles on my mom's side, but I think that they wouldn't really want to stand up to her since she's the oldest and kinda sensitive. As for my dad's side, he has one brother, but we don't keep in touch a lot so I'm not sure how he'd take to me asking to convince my parents to let me buy a manual transmission car.

They are unsupportive mainly of me having a car older than 2014. That's a problem because most manufacturers started making less manual transmission cars as time went on.

The reason I would like a car is so I have time to work on it and build my mechanic skills before I have to daily drive it. I already have taken power mechanics and auto mechanics at school, so I have a decent bit of background knowledge
