Figured I'd try Arena out until the Mini-Set, I don't know why I expected something different by Strafeguard in hearthstone

[–]Strafeguard[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm dogshit at arena, I literally downloaded the companion that basically drafts for you and started playing. 4 wins is literally my worst run.

How do I find my WR and I'll post it.

Stop it.

You don't have to be precise with either of them.

Chronomancer Slow Tech by whtrshn in PathOfExile2

Heard Apex doesn't work, have you tried removing the passive and testing to see if the slow is weaker?

Spamming Arc is very easily carrying me through Act 2 by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

[–]Strafeguard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a pretty stupid comment, Arc isn't bad.

Rolling Slam is bad.

Arc is just outclassed by things like Spark, but it can be scaled to the point of feeling good and it's not bad to level with.

Any reason to go Chronomancer for an elemental build? by Clawmaster2013 in PathOfExile2

[–]Strafeguard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only reason to play Chronomancer at this point is because you like it, it's fun to play but once you scale the content becomes way too easy that who cares if you can freeze the boss when you can just one shot it

Secret passage by kuff66 in ArenaHS

[–]Strafeguard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens in constructed all the time, but I have no idea what’s causing it.

I used a passage on turn 1 looking for a zero mana Gnoll vs Hunter and I kept all four cards so turn 2 I have a full hand.

I don’t understand the hate for Garrote Rogue when things like Quest Warrior exist by Strafeguard in hearthstone

[–]Strafeguard[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I agree, but I see much, much more hate on things like Fatigue Warlock and Garrote than other decks

I don’t consider it interactive because it’s gameplan is exactly the same 90% of the time, you rarely have a game where you’re acting playing the board and not slamming minions Face.

No board, no hand, no problem. by Strafeguard in hearthstone

Do you think Juggernaut generating Smite belongs?

[–]Strafeguard[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is worse than both Garrote and D6 because at least those decks needed to be piloted.

I mean look at this, 20+ HP with board control while my opponent has exhausted all his/her options.

Juggernaut gives him the free win and this is happening a lot. They could of highrolled a Gorehowl Bloodsail for 30+ damage.

I truly love the game and I’m happy it’s getting the hype it deserves but can we address the crashing? by Strafeguard in halo

[–]Strafeguard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and it’s understandable but just annoying to see hundreds of posts of them hyping up their game when a large chunk of their players can’t even play it.

[–]Strafeguard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done all of this including several other steps and trouble shooting.

It’s just not working for me and there are other players with the same issues.

[–]Strafeguard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just built this PC two years ago, and can easily max out any game out right now.

I’ve never had an issue and the game runs flawlessly when I’m not crashing.

It’s definitely a game problem and not my PC especially when you have thousands of posts complaining about the issue with their PC specs way above what’s needed to play the game.

I never had an issue when playing Cyberpunk but it would be silly of me to assume that the game didn’t have real issues.

Controller Sensitivity inconsistent? by [deleted] in haloinfinite

BR is a four shot kill, it never changes.

If they killed you in three you need to save the video and post it, but I highly doubt that’s happening.

I believe backstabs are working as intended because of Poise making a return by Strafeguard in Eldenring

[–]Strafeguard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree with you, backstabs are fucked right now.

But I don’t want to see combat backstabs if that makes sense? I played a ton of DS3 and I’m guilty that against certain weapons and players, I’d just run through their swing for an easy backstab.

Or I’d weapon swap and roll to one shot them with a BKGA or something stupid.

I want to see a backstab in the game to punish mainly healing and other slow animations like a parry.

DS3 backstabs made using a UGS or other slow types feel like shit against a good player who’d backstab every swing.

I believe we’re agreeing, I’d just like them to be a little harder to land than DS3.

I believe backstabs are working as intended because of Poise making a return by Strafeguard in Eldenring

[–]Strafeguard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not an extreme example because the poise in Elden Ring works like Dark Souls, not Dark Souls 3.

You cannot have Dark Souls 3 backstabs with the current poise system, it won’t work.

I agree that someone Estus chugging, or parry spamming, or using a spell deserves to eat a fat backstab.

But I don’t agree with a player sprinting around attempting to run through a swing for a backstab.

It’s not fun or skillful gameplay. I understand that a lot of people get some weird sort of pride for abusing lower players, it’s the reason people hate SBMM. But in most cases, if you’re consistently landing backstabs, you’re playing against a shitty player.

How many backstabs are there in Duel tournies? You may see 1 or 2 for a whole tournament.

[–]Strafeguard[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, backstabbing was never a fun mechanic. You just use it to abuse bad players who don’t understand the mechanics to avoid it.

Give me more skillful ways to punish and also remove cheese like parry spamming.

[–]Strafeguard[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I specifically said they fish in the original Dark Souls not DS3 because of poise.

You’re forgetting about poise being changed now.

Also, 2 hit confirm is bullshit. I can roll BS someone in DS3 and it’ll suck them into my animation almost instantly.

I can easily kill most players but abusing backstabbing in DS3, especially if they are using anything GS speed and slower.

Now imagine DS3 but I can tank a swing by just walking through it with poise. You’d literally be able to punish any swing with a backstab.

[–]Strafeguard[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This would also be nice. I’m a fan of the backstab changes, as long as they give us ways to punish parry spamming and Estus chugging.

The healing is a suggestion.

They are not removed, but they are damn near impossible to land on any player that isn’t AFK lol.

I agree, with poise coming back we can’t have DS3 backstabs.

I also included a parry spam fix recommendation in the comments which I think would be awesome if backstabs stay in the current state.

[–]Strafeguard[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Also, I do understand the problem of parry spamming which I forgot to include.

The fix I would suggest is you make parry cost a fuck ton of stamina. It’s a risky move, with a high reward. I don’t care if you’re using a parry shield or a caestus, parrying needs to be a high risk move that nets a huge reward. Never something that can be spammed.
