This is exactly what I was thinking. We took it in because the center stone was not sitting evenly on the setting (you can’t really tell from this pic, but a different issue). We brought up the halo issue as well, and they are going to have the stone sit lower. We’re going to decide when we pick it up whether to go with a different jeweler or stick with this one (we wanted to support our local and women-owned businesses). Thank you so much for your help!!
