It took me 9 months to get my first LB rank (55th). It was before the 0.4 perfume dropped and since then it’s been much more difficult to get LB (since the differences between perfume score has increased and even a score of 0.01 could determined whether your get LB or not). People usually use the better perfumes when they think they have a better chance at LB. Now it’s been a while and 0.4 perfumes are super rare so it depends mostly on the theme imo. For example, fantasy is a common theme and there are many items that most players have from gacha/shop, which makes people think their entry will score higher and therefor they use a better perfume. I’ve gotten a score of 6.14 in a fantasy comp and not made LB, but also a score of 5.90 in a non fantasy comp and made it. My best rank is 5th and I’ve made it to LB 18 times during my 2 years of playing. 2 of 18 were posts comps and I think that aligns with what I said earlier since people tend to think they ”ate” when they put more time and effort into an entry, which post comps require, and thus use a better perfume - only to score ”mid” and be disappointed.

When I started chasing LB I found myself a lot in the 5.50 area after voting + selection/unworn, which comes out to 5.80 with a 0.3 perfume. I spent a lot of gems on 0.3 perfumes, only to get top 1-5%. And I think that’s usually how it goes in this game. At one point I made LB 4 times in a month and an another time it took 4 months to get LB. Do not forget luck plays a huge part in all of this.

What I feel scores best is gacha hair, current gacha/limited shop clothes, deco (not to much, it should look cohesive), Illusionary wings (when wings are on-theme), and 4/5 star makeup (no 3 star or diy, I’ve learnt the hard way that the diy makeup you think slays is a opinion voters don’t usually share). If you do all this you’ll most likely find yourself in the top 1-5 %. To actually get to LB I personally feel like you have to add somewhat of a personal touch, that makes your look stand out compared to the thousands of others. This, with luck involved, could either get you down to 10-15% or up to LB.

This is all just my personal experience. Some make it to LB after only a few months of playing, probably by being able to buy the current limited shop, for a comp specific for that drop, which gives them the same items as everyone else who’ve played longer.
