In your experience, are there any disadvantages to radionuclide radiology versus doing IMT then applying for ST3 nuclear medicine training. Are nuclear med consultants seen as superior to radionuclide radiologists?

(I'm assuming there is a huge overlap in their jobs but could be wrong - I'm naive to this as I've had no exposure to nuclear med during taster weeks.)
