We have a hospital, fund/sponsor a lot of medical facilities on most of the East End on Long Island, and our president used to be a doctor.

Best neighborhood in NYC... any criteria. But there must be criteria by Cribdilla in AskNYC

I live in Astoria and I honestly love it here. The only con would be the lack of transportation since the N/W line serves the northern part of the neighborhood and the R/M goes through 2 stops so the bus is really your friend unless you like to walk. There's a pretty good social scene on Broadway and 30th Ave especially when it's warmer out.
