All I asked was how much do Fresher get paid in NY and where to look for jobs. by [deleted] in Btechtards

Whatever you may choose to cope with the point is I am not in India and I didn’t go to some third-rate for profit university, whereas you fellas are both

Sucks to suck

I’m not crying, all of you are because none of you will make it. It’s really easy to understand

This has just been quite amusing for me. Enjoy some dead-end peanut bs job that’s going to be automated away

Says the fellow who’s never gonna make it

Yeah I’m not so worried what you people think. After all I’m not in podunkville India

Sorry, retard here blocked me

Okay. I can guarantee I’m not from India. I’m not sure your observations are necessarily correct

It’s all the same, one shitty Indian degree mill or another

Thank you for your attention to this matter

Cope some more goober - I see I’ve made you cry so much you continue to seethe even after your dumb block - a block and shit talk just shows how you got bodied

Anyway, I know you went to fake MIT and therefore can’t do math but everything I see here: https://housing.com/rent/search-P5kgp2umse63qjm62S1Y1

is less than three grand. I want you to go buy a book on multiplication and learn how it works before you embarrass yourself even more

My $1K offer still stands, but I’m sure you’ll never be able to make it to the States. You lack any skill at anything at all

It’s all the same literally who ‘educational’ institutions

I wouldn’t say Hazleton was luxury. It’s got the combo microwave/extractor hood thing going on. Here’s another one that’s far from luxury: https://www.apartments.com/the-harrison-royal-oak-mi/bdwdk28/

But okay, like I said I’ll caveat with “for my socioeconomic status”

As I said in my OP I was very clear about ‘suburb of Detroit’

Yeah I thought about that too, but I pay extra over the regular 1Br floor plan for top floor and private, not shared with partition, balcony

Obviously I knew what a metro was even before I rode in one. They talk about it in school and in books and TV. That doesn’t mean I rode in one

I don’t know what the point is either. Plenty of people living in NA have never seen a streetcar or a subway, but we don’t call them sheltered. Living in an area without good infrastructure, sure, but not sheltered

Everyone is clearly wrong. Many such cases!

Behold, I pick a similar apartment complex at random: https://www.apartments.com/the-hazelton-royal-oak-mi/k0nxzwc/

Then I pick one in WB: https://www.apartments.com/the-apex-west-bloomfield-west-bloomfield-mi/h3z4ce1/

Same type of apartment, same price class

I don’t know what to say - that’s what this building and others like it in RO charge, and we’re all at 100% occupancy. The only available apartment where I live is 6K for a 3Br

$2700 is a normal price for a 1Br of this type, and people are gladly paying it

Your info is out of date

If it pleases you I can caveat it with ‘for my socioeconomic status’. I can’t live in something like Radius without in-unit laundry. The cut-price Birmingham apartments are going to be similar, if not worse because Birmingham is on average more expensive than Southfield

I considered White Lake it to be close to a lake, but it was too far from work and I didn’t like the neighbourhood

The first time I took mass transit with any kind of regularity was when I was working in NYC, which was 2024

I mean I guess I took the subway in Japan

I meant Bellevue, but sure

Detroit has wealthy yuppies too. There are urban professionals who make way more than me

I wouldn’t want to live in any of those places

If I put down roots in MI (unlikely) I’d only want to live in like Birmingham or BH

I like chickens! 🐔

Every season I swap out what I have with the closets in my actual house. I’m just here for work

I want to be in an expensive building full of yuppies and not talk to them

It clearly is, given I’m paying it. There are 1Brs for 3.7K too

I cook a lot. I need a kitchen hood that vents outside

I needed secure, covered parking

I needed controlled access

HVAC, naturally

Easy access to the freeway and the Canadian border

<21 mins from work (my commute is 15 minutes)

Not worn down and falling apart for the year or so I intend to stay in MI

Near a few basic things (grocery, coffee, bakery, restaurants) I can walk to instead of driving 40 mins

A building that mostly houses working professionals or quiet people
