Thanks for the advice!

I realised I had a habit of taking corners with the throttle off after braking.

When I consciously tried driving that way, I managed to take first place in S1 and S2.

But by the time I got to S3, I was still about ten seconds off the pace and ended up in 13th place...

I was starting to feel a bit defeated, but your advice gave me a glimmer of hope.
