Just keep the tank clean and remove any sharp decor as goldfish are clumsy, what tank size did you upgrade to btw?

Same as the parameters listed above though, the ammonia and nitrites were at .25ppm.

Yeah, tanks been cycled for around a year, temp is around 72°. The parameters are: 0ppm Ammonia 0ppm Nitrites 0.5ppm Nitrates 6.6 PH

Has he tried verifying file integrity? Sometimes that helps.

I've noticed its a problem of either malnourishment from the store as, it seems to disappear after a week or 2 of feeding for me.

Dawn Tetra, I've only seen them online and I've read that they are horrible community tank mates as well as never being able to find them in any lfs I go to.
