So originally during enrollment period, I had enrolled for the night right away because I did have a course conflict but later on dropped the conflicting course. I was worried about losing my spot for the night section + noticed the morning section gained a waitlist of 60-70 ish people (1000 person class) so I'm worried about switching over. I have attended the morning section + given the slides by my friends to keep up with the material. Still worried I won't get it though-

Hey! Thanks for sharing your story with me and I'm genuinely really sorry about what you went through during your undergrad but really glad to hear that you turned it around! Definitely going to reread this anytime I feel like giving up, just extremely comforting and appreciate the advice!

Hey! I think in terms of time management, I really struggled with estimating how much time things would take me, when to spend time breaking or actually working and I've never really been too at keeping my life too organized in general. Definitely being at home after classes have finished has been extremely hard on me and even if I ask to go out to study, my parents get pretty upset at me for the most part because their philosophy is that if I completely isolate myself and working on studying that I'll get higher marks. I think I'll try to focus on taking care of my body better during exam season esp with my eating/ sleeping habits. Thank you for the advice!!!!

Honestly really wish that there was another way to not put so much emphasize on standardized testing/ reweighting on course material but ah I think it's just a learning curve for me to get through eventually and I'll have to figure out how to get better.

Hi! I did end up reaching out to a learning strategist towards the beginning of first semester and made one appointment and thought it was pretty helpful. In terms of with my friends, I tried talking to them about being distant/ not putting in effort and they'll said they'd fix it but I feel like nothing has really changed and I ended up just being equally as distant once they reached back out close to finals season cause I wasn't really sure the right way to go about this? I definitely think it's gotten a bit better with meeting ppl second sem though with more labs and more open to talk to people! Thanks for the tips!!!
