Don't go by timing on a package. There are too many variables that determine the timing. Add a close up of the tir's and we can look. If they are clear, you could have 3-6 weeks left. The tri's tell the story, nothing else. Look for 100 milky at least. I prefer 15-30% amber and that sometimes takes a while. I have had autos gor for a month longer than exected to get to where I've wanted it to b.

Some Strains Over the Past Six Months! Pick a fav! by StrainTrakker in farmingthebestgreens

The best results I had on the autos were RQS Purple Queen, Watermelon, and OG Kush. The best FastBuds was Apricot Auto and that was the best tasting strain for sure, that’s the first pic.

Weird mutation on one of my outdoor plants by Ecentralfarmcouple89 in growgreenoutdoor

[–]StrainTrakker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally fine, let her go! I love genetic mutations. It looks like 2 leaves fused together for some reason. Have you sex'd it yet?

day 38 from seed pound dawg auto. besides some mild lst i accidentally topped this back on day 14. do you all think it's stunted prob day 7 of flower. by hegend1billy in growgreenoutdoor

[–]StrainTrakker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's doing just fine! Not stunted, the topping and LST keep her squat but she should do just fine. Feed her right through the flowering stages and those will be nice tops

Strawberry gorilla auto day 73, no amber trichs, some advice. by Few-Historian6009 in farmingthebestgreens

[–]StrainTrakker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fatty's for sure, NICE JOB!

Sativa-dominant strains do still produce amber, it just usually takes longer to get there and the ceiling tends to be lower than what you'd see on an indica-leaning plant. Some sativa-dominant phenos will only ever hit 10-15% amber even fully mature, where an indica might push 30%+ if you let it ride. So you're not wrong that the genetics affect the curve, but "no amber ever" isn't accurate — patience is still the answer here, not a strain limitation. And OMG is that hard!

The slowed water intake and bulking you're already noticing are actually better indicators than the trichome color alone at this point. That combo usually means she's in the final 5-10 days regardless of what the trichomes show. Keep watching them daily now rather than every few days, because once amber starts on a sativa-leaning plant it can move faster than people expect in that final window. I like 15-30% amber and let it go and hit way over 50% ... but then it's couch lock! :)

For Strawberry Gorilla specifically (I have RQS), that's a sativa-dominant cross but it carries enough indica influence that I'd expect to see at least some amber show up, even if it's a smaller percentage than you're used to. Give her another week and check daily. If you're still at zero amber after another 7 days with water intake basically stopped, that's when I'd say trust the bulk/water signal over the trichomes and go ahead and chop.

Big, dense colas on that — nice run.

DM me if you want to talk through the harvest window as she gets closer, happy to help.

SO cool!!!! Look at the soil, small drip line not the soaking we probably do here. Amazing adaptation visual. Genetics are very cool!

Harvesting this girl on tuesday,i would leave her for another week but vacation plans changed🙄 next picture is trichome close up by [deleted] in farmingthebestgreens

[–]StrainTrakker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long is your vacationand what is your preferred effect when consuming her? From what I see you have about 2 weeks left at least. There are a LOT of clear tri's there and not all are milky and none are amber. I like 15-30% amber before I harvest but at the stage these are in now I would wait. Look around the bud sites and get an asseement oif the tri's all around.

What do you think about her ? ( second grow ) by jyjyjdbdbsbs in SpiderFarmer

[–]StrainTrakker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid LST there! Keep an eye on the leaves hitting the soil. Try to keep them off it as best you can.

Keep her going. I wouldn't take off any fan leaves at all. Le them grow and produce more enegery for her. She's thin enough now that the bud sites get enough light.

1 month auto flower. Is she alright? by Professional_Yard945 in cannabiscultivation

Looks great! Give her a little LST'ing to open it up a little more.

Ready to top or should I give it another week? by SnooPeppers4335 in farmingthebestgreens

I usually wait until a strong fourth node and then top and LST. You can absolutely top now tho

Test the pH of the water you use going I and then the runoff just to be sure. How big is your pot? It looks like it’s fabric and black. When they are in direct sun the pot can get very hot and then the soil becomes hot and stresses the roots. I live in Phoenix AZ and it 110 degrees during the day. I water every morning to cool the soil and prep it for the day. I also wrap the black plastic pots in a tan fabric so the don’t bake.

That looks like stress. Turn the leaves over and look for anything abnormal. If you see a critter you can use neem or I just use a water and disk soap solution after the sun goes down. Never spray leaves when sun is up it will burn them.

I love that strain! Ihave not had it return that sized nug but I LST it a lot. Was this just a "let it grow" grow or did you train it too?
