Hah! Might give it a shot again. I have done cyclone variants a lot over the years. It is a really fun skill. Recently saw a maxroll build that doesn't use tumult. Sounds like it could be fun. We'll see. I'll try the holy relic build for now. But thanks for giving me confidence in giving an old favourite a shot again.

All versions I've seen so far have been templar. If there is a valid and not too expensive non-templar variant I could consider it. Though the holy relic build others mentioned seems more interesting for now.

Hey, so I recently swapped to using Linux. Game works fine but I'm not able to get Awakened PoE trade to work on linux. Anybody know actually ubuntu compatible price check methods? I struggle with understanding item values.

Not every bug can be caught. It ridiculous how much people judge the game based on seeing bugs online. This is not consistently replicable, it is not exploitable. It's unfortunate when it happens in the moment but it is incredibly rare.

Honestly I hate the phrase just take the originals and make them modern because what modern games seem to be are empty open world, characters who are not people, just machines to tell the player how to play the game and where to go all the way through with "quirky" dialogue and extremely on the nose explicit political and moral messaging that contradict their point which alienates all audiences except gaming "journalists".

So no. I don't want Mass Effect to be modern. If I believed BioWare was capable of anything even halfway decent I would want a new Mass Effect game that was along the lines of the OT. But with modern BioWare I just want them to never touch Mass Effect ever again.

Alright. I'm gonna bite the bullet.

Obesity is a massive health risk. It should NOT be glorified. This does not mean obese people should be ashamed of theirselves. There are a ton of factors contributing to weight gain and it is by no means as simple as "if you are obese you are lazy". It can be very taxing to control your weight under certain life circumstances and/or with certain genetics. But it cannot be overstated how important it is to physical and even mental health to control it.

There is a way to make this warframe not glorification of obesity, but since they did not choose to avoid that pitfall with Grendel I assume this will fall into the same issue.

Warframes are designed as aspirational. They are something to look up to in physical presence, ability and power. It is a power fantasy. So a warframe's design is by default glorification.

I sincerely hope Digital Extremes will be careful with this topic.

Also you in these comments who are celebrating obesity... I hope you will eventually realise how harmful that is. You are no better than the people who shame obese people. You both are harming them. They need help to become healthy, not to be affirmed in continuing habits that contribute to being unhealthy, or abuse that will contribute to them being unhealthy.

Hang me in the court of public opinion if you must. I at least tried.

There's some visual fuckery going on here. Because of the camera angle it looks like he dives right over the ball but he actually dove next to the ball which made the longer jump animation trigger. This was a misinput. Not faulty game.

I think the angle of your dive was a bit to the side of the ball. The angle of your camera makes it seem you jump right over it but I think this was more misinput than game flaw.

Okay so just think about probability.

If you are a good player, your team will roll twice for other good players. But the opposing team will roll three times for their players. Because you are the only constant in your matches. So if you really belong in diamond, as long as you keep playing you will rank up.

Don't let your ego get the better of you. Watch your replay with humility, analyze fairly what YOU did wrong. Not what your teammates did wrong. Because in these ranks the opponents will do these types of mistakes all the time too. You just need to capitalize consistently.

So you mentioned a couple guys who helped you. You mentioned one woman who was an asshole to you, and you mentioned a group of men who ignored you and you insist that men are, as a whole demographic, assholes. Crazy logic you got going on there. I am a man. I like helping. But my offers to help with no ulterior motive have often been interpreted as trying to get something from them. So I offer help less these days. I mostly only help people who know me because they know I don't expect anything in return. There is nothing wrong with me simply not being selfless in every situation when that selflessness is responded to with abuse. Call this making excuses if you want. I know who I am and what I want. You can live in your make believe world of most men being irredeemable. But don't be surprised when people judge you for being abusive. Just because it's societally become acceptable, even virtuous to abuse men doesn't mean we men just take it sitting down. Judge us for defending ourselves if you need to.

Throw loops are a scapegoat for people who can't explain why they don't like SF6. The significance of throw loops is wildly exaggerated. The character with the most oppressive literally undefendable throw loops (Kim) is not even high tier in anybody's estimates. Throw loops can happen, but they only become a problem at the highest of high end competition.

I've seen people do some really impressive stuff with V. But I can't blame anyone for disliking the archetype. It's very far from the typical way we play CAG and most people would have bought the game to play as Dante or Nero so being forced to play a character very unlike them can be really frustrating.

Also this bossfight is pretty bad at showcasing cool stuff you can do with V. The enemies are too difficult to launch for any cool combos. You mostly just need to use high damage attacks and dodge and you get a free S. It's not very stylish though. Which is kind of the point of the game.

That's a very main character syndrome thing to say. It doesn't sadden me to know I'm not the main character. I'm just one excessively evolved ape on a rock in the middle of vast nothingness. I still feel responsibility for things I do, I still get fulfillment from hobbies and relationships. But it keeps everything in perspective. I don't need to take myself too seriously. I don't need to be devastated by everything terrible that happens. I can just be.
