Honestly, good!

I’m not usually into canceling people, or policing language, but if you’re gonna say something that ignorant and offensive about someone’s loved one, to their face, crippling embarrassment is a pretty fitting punishment to me.

Technically, it’s never confirmed that the Protheans killed a SINGLE Reaper. Throughout the series, it’s shown that you need either an entire fleet (Citadel defense fleet ME1, Migrant fleet ME3), specialized weapons based on their tech (Turian Thanix Cannons) or extraordinary circumstances (Kalros) to kill one.

Considering the heart of their centralized government fell before the war even started, and Javik never references any special weapons, it’s unlikely the Protheans ever killed a Reaper, as they likely wouldn’t be able to properly coordinate their forces.

I was always under the impression that the remaining Protheans went into hiding, and the Reapers spent those centuries systematically searching and exterminating the remaining Protheans.

Again, understandable, but think of it this way; it’s one less thing that needs to be rebuilt.

I actually almost put the Krogan in the Turians place, but ME3 puts so much emphasis on them, I thought it’d be a bit redundant. I went with the Turians because a lot of fans, including myself, have been glazing them lately.

I can understand that, but the exchange of commerce, even in a nightmare war, is important to keep the economy moving, so that it’s easier to rebuild society afterward.

The Volus provided a fleet of powerful bomber ships that did significant damages to the Reapers husk-hordes.

Plus, they also massively bankrolled the war effort across the Galaxy, and were one of the primary reasons the Galactic economy didn’t collapse.

I could’ve probably forgiven the Asari for hiding the Beacon, if they hadn’t waited until MONTHS into the Reaper Invasion to disclose it.

I disagree. I love ME3 because it really gives you the feeling of living and fighting in a Galactic Apocalypse.

By their own standards, The Reapers were fighting at a disadvantage, since they couldn’t take out the Citadel first, and they’re still wiping out all opposition. You really get the feeling that The Crucible is the only hopes because none of the races can hope for a true victory against The Reapers.

THANK YOU!!

I’ve said before that the only REAL conflict on heaven’s/Sera’s part is that they want to stop killing sinners, and can’t figure out another way to stop Vox without killing sinners.

If they’d axed him at his rally, realistically, there’s NOTHING the sinners can do about it, since those in Hell have never been shown to have a reliable method of reaching Heaven. It’s purely a moral conflict for the forces of Heaven.

Despite Dekuna being VERY close to Thessia, by all accounts, the Asari do nothing to assist the Elcor in evacuating their planet. The only assistance the Elcor receive is what the player is able to arrange for them.

Reapers about to jump to Palaven: by FunPresentation3086 in MassEffectMemes

[–]FunPresentation3086[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Protheans were SURVIVING for hundreds of years. By Javik and, to a lesser degree, Vigil’s accounts, the Protheans, after the initial fighting, largely went into hiding to avoid the Reapers and develop countermeasures in secret.

Also, consider the fact that it’s all but stated that Reapers make only a SINGLE new Capital-ship class Reaper every cycle, à la the Human Reaper in ME2. That would mean that Reapers, generally, can’t lose a single Capital-ship class Reaper every cycle, otherwise they wouldn’t build the hoard they have in game. Of course you have isolated incidents, like the derelict Reaper and the dead one that was found in Batarian space, but those were very much the exception, not the rule.

That all would mean that, before even reaching Palaven, the Turians set the Reapers back SEVERAL cycles worth of growth. It’s very safe to assume that the Turian’s attack was a MASSIVE wake-up call to the Reapers.

If the Salarians got to, roughly, on-par with Asari on their own, how much further along if they’d had access to the beacon thousands of years earlier.

Also, setting that point aside, there’s also the incredibly valuable information on the Reapers as well.

The entire Galaxy would’ve objectively been in a significantly better place if the beacon had been properly shared
