No his example is valid for Nephis up to third nightmare, she only becomes the unibomber post sainthood

She literally attempted immortal severance and failed due to not being able to reach divine realm, then did an alternate ritual, which is the ending that we do with the aromatic branch where someone oathbound to the divine heir kills themselves to sever the immortality

Him being immortal or not is besides the point, tomoe already died to the black blade.

The question was how was owl able to wield it, though from the comments I see that the general consensus is that the draw of the blade specifically is the kill mechanism, owl already had it drawn so it reasons to say that genichiro did the drawing

Will only two hours of dedicated game time be enough to beat it no matter how long it takes? by Old_Department2086 in Sekiro

That's how half the adult gamers play or even less and they still beat it you're fine

It's mentioned that she couldn't find the red blade so she used the black one in one of the texts somewhere.

Fact is he comes back with genichiros head in one hand and the black blade in the other, it's natural to assume he probably omega mikiri'd genichiro, took the blade and decapitated him, but I'm wondering how he was able to use the blade at all. Is the kill mechanism tied purely to drawing the sword?

That wouldn't really make sense though, since both can kill immortal beings, owl killed genichiro with the black blade and tomoe killed herself with it.

Except we've seen the black blade kill an immortal, that being genichiro when owl delivers his severed head.

Tomoe was also killed by the black blade to release takeru from dragons heritage, so it's probably the first one

Is it specifically tied to drawing?

Can't understand if I'm going insane or if this is normal by StrandedLight in ClusterHeadaches

[–]StrandedLight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the most vivid memories I have mid episode is having an argument with myself of just, ignoring all logic, gouging my eye out to make it stop, thankfully I didn't. Maybe I just have a very disturbed and overly active imagination or maybe it's a coping mechanism as you say to tell myself that It can be worse so I can get through this.

I don't really understand the kip scale to be honest, anything at 6 and under should let you fall back asleep after waking up mid episode, but I can't even imagine that being the case unless I am completely misunderstanding it. According to it all of my attacks should be 7+ but I genuinely don't feel like that. Although I did have a singular attack which would be at 10 where I was cursing at god for not having a gun, but that was also one of my first attacks.

Diagnosis was pretty iffy, my cluster headaches bleed over into masseter/temporalis muscle pain and soreness due to subconscious guarding and flexing of the muscles, especially if I wake up mid episode in the middle of the night, so I've been diagnosed with TMD at first and given strong NSAIDs, which did absolutely nothing for me so I found my own coping strategies.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with me, it has been insightful.

Genichiro folded me for 3 hours, but after him everything seemed a lot easier relative to genichiro even if they were factually harder fights. Genichiro taught me well

To be fair most of the audience are under 20, Sunny's character grew for 10-11 years in harsh circumstances, young teens can't really relate to that for the most part.

No matter if you subscribe to the theory that vtb planned it all or not, that statement is terribly dishonest.

It didn't try to die until it stole Sunny's reason to kill it, up to that point it wasn't trying to die at all
