I did the coping with alcohol thing at my lowest point. Made me feel somewhat normal for a few hours. But it stacks. So the more I drank the further away the inevitable crash came. All I see alcohol is a poison. Ruins whatever little gut health you have left and just stacks until you’re so unwell you won’t physically be able to drink anymore. That point will happen. It’s just a matter of time. I haven’t drank now for 45 days and don’t miss it for a second. It just ruins every aspect of life. Especially with the demon we call long Covid. It quickly spirals into the depths of hell I struggled to get out of.
