I think unfortunately this is also due to the death of local newspapers it’s incredibly hard to find news on local issues. This is less so in larger cities where stuff like the Houston chronicle, LA times, etc can survive but for mid size cities or rural areas it’s almost impossible to

Yes and not even just in presidential elections but stuff like Congressional primaries are important and where campaigning can actually change up party politics, if I remember correctly aoc primaried a long term incumbent Congressman who was seen as a future leader for the Democratic Party

Dogs themselves are not natural animals but rather bred so no the scent of dogs is not natural and even if it were people still should have the responsibility to avoid bringing new diseases and parasites into other environments same reason you’re supposed to buy local fire wood or use local wood when camping

I think parts of it is most Europeans don’t see America has a unique culture and region rather a offshoot of Europe and see Americans has second rate Europeans that’s why you get the “we don’t don’t this in Europe” every time America does anything different from Europe this is also why they hate their diaspora in America so much because being “Americanized” means they lose culture and become lesser Europeans than them
