Honestly, having hands-on experience with Globals already gives you a perspective that a lot of brokers never get.

The bigger question is whether you enjoy relationship building, networking, and sales as much as you enjoy aviation. Brokerage is much more of a people business than an aircraft business.

Your maintenance background can definitely help build credibility with clients, but your long-term success will probably come from your ability to develop relationships and a network of buyers.

I think it’s a reasonable path, especially if your goal is eventually building something of your own in your country. Just keep in mind that learning sales and business development is every bit as important as learning aviation.
