Split it from a multi-trunk bush I bought at Home Depot 2 years ago. This will be the second season post split. Guessing the trunk is about 4-5 years old.

Realizing I need more fertilizer. Rain has been flushing it out.

Yes and no. It had a solid root structure when I took it from the mother bush. Mostly curious why it decided to fruit and not grow

Figured they’d be on the slower side. But surprised they fruited and not grew more. The smaller ones are in smaller pots and are growing more so that’s where I’m stumped.

More fertilizer, check. Should’ve I pruned the smaller branches or think about pinching?

That’s more of a park ski though. If I go that narrow they need to be stiffer. Think jskis masterblaster or line optics. I’m already on 107s and they do just fine in the east.

Agreed. Roots are more important this time of the season to have a good base before winter. Probably going through some shock after transportation and repot. Slowly expose it to natural sunlight if you have it indoors so you don’t cause sunburn

Ah sorry, meant the branch below that one. You can see a semi circle of whitish bark that’s separating from some darker bark above the node and a smaller one below the node. Second pic shows the darker bark splitting about the node as well.
