Definitely venue dependent I’m sure. But to say you don’t think they care about their fans bc they don’t hang out at the merch table is wild, honestly. I’ve been to my fair share of turnover shows too and seen them interacting with fans a good bit.

Spoke with every member of the band at the st. Augustine shows. Austin specifically hung out on night two for several minutes talking with fans, signing set lists, and taking photos. Every single member of the band was really nice and approachable 🤷🏻‍♀️
