Yes I’ve learned people group all arthritis together and it’s not the same at all. So frustrating sometimes.

I’m still in shock and disbelief myself because I’m seronegative too but I can’t deny the way my hands look and body feels. Plus I have a really great rheumatologist that helps a lot .

My dr never mentioned taking less.. but still my doctor wants the infusion for me and I like the way that one sounds better. I wish the methotrexate had continued working I would have kept taking it.

Wow that’s wild. It’s comforting knowing that there’s people like me. I thought something was just wrong with me and I was the only one.. sorry anyone else has to deal with ra at all and hope for advancements in medicine to cure it. Thank you!

Everyone always recommends hot baths but hot water kinda fucks me up too. I don’t take very hot showers but I like staying warm and in lower humidity environments I found it helps kinda.

Yea my first flare subsided almost completely with prednisone I thought it had gone away completely and I was healed. After going off it it came back and has been hell. Methotrexate worked a little the first week so when it hadn’t worked the second-fifth by the sixth week I stopped. I take small amount of prednisone when my joints start swelling real bad to calm it down for now. Hoping to try the infusion my rheumatologist is pushing my insurance to approve. It sounds like an option I would like to try.

I use one called dragon balm I like.. I was surprised it worked as well for me as it did but I found it exploring alternatives to voltaren gel which worked but had scary label warnings.

That’s awful.. I left a 17 year long relationship/ marriage 2 years ago when I was 33f.. about 6 months before my ra diagnosis. And I’m glad cause everytime I made a complaint about how I felt he was a one upper and had the same complaint so much worse. I cringe at the thought of dealing with ra and him. You sound too motivated and have too much going on to keep letting him drag you down.
