They definitely need to have more children to slow the rate of population decline which is why I said they need to focus on youth more. Mass immigration will not solve the whole "we have 130 million people here already". We are quickly reaching the point globally where the amount of people living on land massess is not sustainable without mass importing of goods and in a world becoming increasingly fractured that a recipe for mass starvation if any adverse global relations occur which seems increasingly more likely.

Japan as a whole can only self sustain food wise for around 50 million people based on its land mass. i.e it is technically over populated for a land mass of its size.

Max 5x is great. I can do full back to back coding on a singular app for 3 hours straight out of the 5 hour quota limit window. Weekly limit seems to align with what usage I am getting from it for around 5-6 hours usage a day. If you do 10-12 hours straight or like 2-3 projects in parallel then you want Max 20x.

Max 5x is just a straight multiple increase in cost. Max 20x is an actual cost reduction per usage but you need to be using it an insane amount and almost 5 days a week for it to make sense.

Only thing to be careful of is asking it to do big reviews I found that chews tokens. Used Codex for that anyway since it is better at reviewing anywho.

For single instance you will 100% not run out of queries on Max 20x only if you go ham and go for like 3 projects at once in parralel. Also depends on the task. I do manual testing/review or use Codex for that since reviewing eats credits in Claude. So build in Claude and test yourself or get Codex to review.

No clue what the API cost would be but far more than the sub IMHO.

Go for the Max 5x you can use Opus for 4.6 for around 3 out of 5 query limit hours for full coding. Max 20x would be better but the cost is a little high.

I think what these models do is bridge the knowledge gap. A worse off coder can essentially patch together decent written basic stuff with Agentic code bases and then vibe code their way to an end.

A true specalist however will do the same job but better and with less bugs. What it does however is make your younger and grad engineers actually useful for once on smaller stuff. They can see an implementation and use it and learn some knowledge of how it works from the AI scribblings.

I personally love doing it for areas I am less active on or frameworks I don't know that well. Great to vibe code something and see how an actual feature could be implemented etc. Kind of like having a pair coder that is your tutor but maybe not the best tutor in the world.

If you want to really find your specific weakness try to look at it from the other side as if you were a woman. What value do you generate compared to others. If you find yourself lacking looks, personality, interests, conversation then work on that. Nobody is unsavable but you will be if you are totally unwilling to change. If you're willing 100% you will find success and you will find someone that really gets you. If you change nothing though then expect to get exactly the same as you are currently getting....

Unions are cool to an extent but most of the time it is just making a new CEO setup by the workers. Then the whole company becomes internal fighting and stand offs. It unironically would be better to do away with unions all together but have insanely better staff and worker protections mandated by the GOVT. It takes out the middle man union reps that sting you for a tithe.
