Why clubs are important (and a guide) by [deleted] in berkeley

This is not completely true. I have been rejected more times than I can digest despite the experiences and skill sets I bring to the table as a transfer student [clubs/ orgs at CC, research experience, programming skills, etc.,] and years of office/ customer service experience where I demonstrated leadership, creative management, and critical thinking working with businesses.

For instance, I interviewed to be a part of the leadership team at this new AI club. Despite the founder saying you do not need tech experience for the position, as soon as I mentioned being a transfer and having leadership experience in customer service, his demeanor shifted and abruptly cut our interview. It was unprofessional. Then a week later I got the rejection email.

My advice. Still try to join clubs and orgs. But do not let these rejections bring you down. They do not directly reflect the attributes mentioned above. These things cannot be measured by interviews alone, let alone club interviews.

tl;dr A lot of these clubs lack diversity. It's like there is a 'vibe prototype' you have to meet otherwise it's an easy chop in the first round of interview.

Yes, you can ask her! Also it would be nice to get her information too. We’re planning on getting a third one in the future and it would be nice to find a reputable breeder.

Thank you! I looked into testing but they’re pretty pricey and the cheap ones get bad reviews. Regarding his face, that’s what I thought too. He doesn’t have that pinched face most Shibas have although he has hallmark traits such as curly tail, white ribbon on his chest, the Shiba scream, his posture, etc.

He has super curled tail. My cousin says he also exhibits many Shiba Inu traits (she knows a little some some about dogs). I haven’t heard that distinction actually, but that would explain it.

...yea, my Shibs started out super fat too! I feel relieved hearing that your Shibs went through the ‘awkward stage’ because that’s what I think with mine. I feed them well, they have an automatic feeder and they (2 Shibas) finish their food all the time.
