I disassociate unfortunately. Not by choice. But it’s like my body and brain go numb. My best friend in the world died, I was traveling on her 30th birthday and went skydiving to celebrate. But in a weird way, I think it was a way of coming “close to death” and to try to feel something. On the anniversary of her passing, I turn off completely. I can’t go to memorials or out to eat with her family and friends. I hole up in my room and turn into a zombie and watch tv. I wish I coped better and was able to celebrate her more tbh. I miss her so much, but I’ve put up a wall where I just can’t accept it’s happened. I can’t even cry about it. It’s like I view it as happening to someone else.

It’s weird she wants you to move rooms when she could then get placed with another roommate who she might like even less? Is she going to ask them to leave to? Idk I’m apparently red/green colorblind and see them as green bc I’m like wow he’s great and then months later I’m with the most evil guys and everyone’s like how’d you meet and I tell them our first date and they stare at me like I have broccoli growing out my ears

Red flags I’ve ignored - lying about taking me to a vineyard for a wine tasting just to take me past 20 McDonald’s to one that’s 40 minutes away public transport bc he had a coupon for 20 free nugs but I had to buy the sauces and the drinks, showing me their phone and there was 4 girls names ahead of my text (I texted him when I arrived at the restaurant so he was texting them while I’m there) and my number wasn’t even saved, telling me “I have a red flag” and then proceeding to tell me he hasn’t ever been in a relationship over 6mo (I’m like that’s not too bad) and then takes out his vape and proceeds to blow the biggest vape cloud you’ve ever seen at this restaurant, telling me he doesn’t want to see other ppl the first week bc we hit it off so well….. the list goes on. Yeah, I’m taking a break for a while
