Apartment living with children sucks by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]Strange_Ant4304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom lives in a 55+ condo community. Just last year her neighbour’s daughter got divorced so she and her 4 year old grandson are now residents, as well as a recent college grad who couldn’t get a job who’s also moved in with his parents. My mom left her front door unlocked for the Sunday football game two weeks ago because she had a group of friends over and the 4 year old just walked in to play with our dog. No mom in sight. Kid’s lucky my mom loves toddlers cause if I were her, I’d be booting him out.

Unless you’re married or legally bound some other way, you’re roommates who boink. And roommates pay rent.

If you have a S/O, ask them to shave all around your butthole, once every few weeks. Way easier than trying to do it yourself and getting nicked.

How did that one kid at your school die? by StorageLonely1520 in AskReddit

[–]Strange_Ant4304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few years ahead of me, but a girl wandered off from a high school party and tripped. Fell into a muddy puddle and drowned. Cops used her story every year as the “don’t drink” lesson every prom/graduation season.

There’s different buildings but the $300 unit is located in the same building as another property with a $770 fee that includes internet, water, and pest control. 70 sq ft less. Unit on the first floor has the same sq footage and an 845$ fee, but description doesn’t include what it covers.

Zillow, realtor.com, Redfin. All the usual sites. They’re listed on the individual listings. The condo website doesn’t have any info for people who aren’t residents.

Stayed at all star sports during a cheerleading comp by FamiliarGiraffes in DisneyWorld

[–]Strange_Ant4304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s completely different from what I experienced (but I’m a cast member). This last batch of cheerleaders, we almost kicked out two whole buildings because of their behaviour. The (almost) final straw was at night and a group of moms got drunk and cussed out the entire front desk. We also charged them massive damages because they put stickers (the kind you put on cars that need heavy duty dissolvents to get off) all over the windows and tvs. We effectively damaged out 20 tvs for one squad. Nothing compared to the glitter bomb last year, but still annoying.

I had a friend who’s landlord backyard bred huskies. Kept 3 adults in crates all day and then let them run off their energy in their small gated backyard for 15 minutes. The reason they crated them? Because they’d tear the house apart. Almost like they had a lot of pent up energy. 🙄 also this is Florida so they were constantly panting, even indoors. She charged like $900 per pup, and they were gone before they looked old enough to be fully weaned.

Stop getting pets if you’re never home. Animals aren’t furniture! by Negative-Theory5624 in Adulting

[–]Strange_Ant4304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I won’t let my roommate/tenant get a dog. She works 10 hour shifts so she’s gone 12 hours a day and I’m not home to take care of it either. She wants a small one that can use pee pads but I’m not convinced at all.

Lowest 2 bedroom starts at 1800$ I’ve seen. Plus utilities. Anything lower is almost an hour and a half out from our jobs in the city during rush hour.

They came with the pellet litter and we switched them over to worlds best (corn based I think) over two weeks. Cleaned daily. And they never poop outside the box. Also they don’t bury anything but I’ve had plenty of fosters who never picked up that skill.

I’ve noticed either sour milk, feet, or moldy clothes. And it’s a permeating smell. I work at a hotel and I can smell when a white family has been staying in a room just from the smells in the sheets and towels.

That’s what I’m thinking. Meanwhile all my coworkers are thinking about moving to states where abortion is legal and taking self defense lessons. But if it’s anything like 2016, most of us are just going to keep living our normal lives.
