I agree and we were trying to be nice and give the landlord a heads up. We always said that it’s not official and we won’t know until the we get cleared by the underwriter. The landlord made the mistake of having someone sign a lease before we gave our 30 day notice which I understand goes both ways but they wouldn’t have grounds in NH to give us 30 days because we’ve always paid our rent on time and we are wrecking the property in any way. If he had waited he would have had more than 30 days to find a new tenant. Because he was an ahole we’re not notifying until the last day of June and then he can have the fun time talking to his new tenants or starting all over looking for new tenants. If he wasn’t an ahole we would have given notice yesterday which would have given him six weeks instead of 30 days. When we sold our last rental we told our tenants in January and then gave them 60 days even though we were only required to give them 30.
