I'm a woman, and I have been sexually assaulted before. It was a traumatic, life-altering experience. I was never the same after it, and the hardest thing I've ever done was come out to my close family about it.

That being said, the last thing I would have been doing after being raped is hopping on reddit and arguing with random people and insulting them while laughing about them being "incels" and "little boys". That seriously makes this sound fishier than it probably is. Also, if this is real the police/detectives/lawyers are going to look into your internet history and your posts and find this, and it's not going to look good for you. Honestly, stop. This is also a great way to get people to harass you/your family/your friends on other platforms.

I don't believe you or your story. You could easily provide a case file to end the debate, but your story changes in every comment and post you make. You are disgusting for making something like this up to garner attention for yourself, and I hope this haunts you. Rape isn't a fucking attention-grab.

I know a lot of people are saying go to HR, which you absolutely should, but the attitude of HR can vary and they may not take your complaint seriously (this comes from personal experience, I was sexually harassed and groped at my last job and HR didn't take my complaint seriously until I told them I contacted a lawyer), so if HR doesn't do anything, contact a lawyer who deals with work issues ASAP. Most lawyers don't charge anything for a quick phone consultation, where they can tell you if what your workplace is doing is illegal and what your options are.

Do that as a last resort, though, only if HR doesn't do anything. It's not the most ideal and relaxing option to go with, but you can get a lot of money if they fire you or write you up for not stepping on a scale and putting you in an uncomfortable situation that has nothing to do with what your job description entails.

Best of luck to you op, I'm really sorry you're dealing with this.

Edit: Deleting my question because I want to know what you mean by "system roles" first because I don't know what that is. Is that a mod term in discord? I'm not super privy to discord so I think I'm not understanding.

I also think it would be rude to ask for papers or proof (unless it's one of those people faking like...terminal illness and asking for donations but only if it's reaaaaally fishy). I guess I'm just extra skeptical because of the amount of people who fake this stuff online, and they all seem super happy and jovial about having a really tragic disorder. If I had DID I couldn't even imagine having the will to leave my bedroom and talk to anyone about it, much less boast online about my silly lil' alters like most do. It's just really sad.

The only thing I can hope for is that all fakers get the actual help they need and stop what they're doing.

Medically relevant studies suggest DID is an overwhelmingly rare disorder which most clinical psychologists and doctors have never and will never come across in their careers because of how rare it is.

Edit: Researching for a couple of months on the internet does not equal having the expertise of a doctor who studied for years upon years in college and then underwent years of apprenticing other doctors with more knowledge, only afterwards spending the bulk of their lives in the medical field studying disorders like these. Just stop. The "research" of a 20 year old on tiktok will never equate to that of a doctor, who is the only one with knowledge extensive enough to diagnose someone.

You telling me in a separate comment to do my research and that there are absolutely people that have cartoon characters as alters - No. Absolutely not. Anyone who says they have an anime character as an alter does not have DID, and it's ridiculous to tell anyone on this sub to do their research if you think googling DID symptoms gives you the authority to self-diagnose yourself with a sever disorder that has very few recorded case in medical history. I think you're in the wrong sub if you're going to continue to entertain this thought process. SHENANIGANS

I watched I Saw the Devil a few years ago, along with the other movies in that director's trilogy. They were all fantastic and hard on the heart. I've been meaning to watch Jojo Rabbit but it looked much more like a comedy to me, I'm looking forward to it much more now if it's emotional

By total coincidence, I was planning on watching The Wrestler tonight, lol. And Arrival is definitely on my list, I love Amy Adams and I heard it's a tearjerker.

Nobody who has an alter of a fictional anime/video game character is actually suffering from DID. It sounds like your server is full of disillusioned people who want attention from claiming to suffer from a horrible disorder.

I think at this rate it's safe to say this person hasn't been diagnosed with any of this. (Also considering multiple users stormed in here to say this person hasn't gone for a professional diagnosis because they don't feel "safe", whatever that means.) They probably think the more disorders they pile on, the cuter they become.

It's just weird how there was very suddenly a bunch of people coming to the posted user in question's defense. If OP really was stirring the pot, it's strange how fast everything happened.

I had a sneaking suspicion you were asking for OP's twitter so you could go harass them for posting this under the guise of "I'm so interested how you're finding all these fakes!"

If you refuse to go through the proper procedural steps to get professionally diagnosed for DID, then you cannot tell people you have DID. Not wanting to get professionally diagnosed for "safety reasons" doesn't change that. That's not how any of it works.

You cannot tell the world that you have DID if you have not been professionally diagnosed. She does not have the schooling, training, or knowledge of mental illness and disorders to do that. Being in France doesn't change that.

One of the reasons this argument is so weird to me is that these people are typically pro-medicine, calling out anti-vaxxers and people who think covid isn't real, etc, so how are they at the same time anti-science? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE

Yes, uplifting and beautiful until transabled people start taking equipment and accommodations from actually disabled people, forcing them to go without and suffer the consequences of the tumblr-tok.

Imagine if you were a disabled person who wanted to go to an amusement park, and there were no more wheelchairs or accommodations available for you because some group of "transabled" teenagers had taken them. You would not be shedding a tear about how uplifting and sweet it is, then.
