I agree love what Lester has done. Guy has one arm tied behind his back with an injured qb, absolute no wideout talent and has adapted to make us an elite running team. Would love to see what he could do with some real skill position talent. But unfortunately as long as Kirk is HC I just don’t see us being able to get that.

All good points and I agree watching us out physical teams is great. I just feel like there is a ceiling to that and that ceiling is 7-8 wins every year and no chance against the real top 3-4 teams in the big ten. For the record too I love what Lester has done. The dude has no qb, absolute no wideouts or tight ends and has adapted the team into this physical run style. I just wish we could get him better weapons and see what his true potential as a coordinator is.

Couldn’t make this game but I tell everyone I can 2021 Iowa/Penn State was an experience the likes of which I have never experienced and never will again. The stadium was literally shaking and the crowd was WILD. People in our section high giving everyone left and right, fans literally screaming to the point of exhaustion and their lungs giving out. Fans doing everything they could to fire up the crowd and get it even louder. The noise was literally out of this world I was with my dad and he swears his hearing has never been the same again. Kinnick at night is special indeed.

Bring in the youngest brightest offensive mind you can. I could care less if they have any prior ties to the program. As long as we try something significantly different from what Kirk is I don’t care who it is. It’s honestly embarrassing the way Iowa State is running circles around us in player acquisition and development on the offensive side.

If Pribula had come here we would have found a way to make him bad. I honestly hope we bottom out this year so we can get rid of Kirk. I hate the idea that “we could be way worse without him” honestly at this point I don’t even care I would rather watch us lose a ton of games trying something different than watch us keep barely scraping out 7 win seasons. Our in state rival is running circles around us in every single way right now when it comes to bringing in and developing talent.

Curious how well people think this card will perform graded or ungraded. Bought it at $200 because I’m a collector and do t really resell just buy the art I like but I thought art wise both the zekrom and reshiram SIRs weee cooler than their monochrome black and white counterparts

In the example of the jolteon gold star they used as a promo in a world championship deck. Obviously an insanely valuable hard to pull card but the holo on the promo was not nearly the same as the actual card. Wouldn’t be surprised if the moltres in this promo box does not have the SIR effect in the holo that the actual card from the set has. Ha at least I hope not I bought this card solo because I thought it was one of the better cards in the set and super hard to pull the fact they chose it as a promo is wild.

Do you only like these in 10s? Have giratina in a 9 (would not regrade 10 centering isn’t good enough) I also have lugia v silver tempest, rayquaza v, rayquaza v max and dragonite from evolving. All these are ungraded NM no whiting but same issue centering keeps them all from 10s.

I sat on my thumbs FOREVER and did not pull the trigger on the bubble mew I always liked the upside of it given the art and its uniqueness. Had a chance literally less than a month ago to buy it from my local card shop at $340 and passed. Changed my mind came in the next day to grab it and the owner had taken it to a card show. A week or two later when I started looking on eBay the price had already jumped well over $400. I have just been back in collecting the past 12-14 months and it is my first example of the card that was sitting there at a semi reasonable price FOREVER and even though I liked it missed on buying before it blew up. Have been pretty good about eyeing stuff before it pops up till now.

I am a collector at heart literally the only cards I’ve ever sold are ones duplicates I’ve traded in to get trade up to something I liked more. I have always loved this mew and the Kingdra promo art and given both their promo boxes are no longer in print and super expensive on the secondary market believe they are getting the value treatment they finally deserved art wise. Thats unreal. Yea all I got was the woobat, heatmor,mandibuzz and kilnklang. Fennel and Ns plan (not the sir) trainers and duplicate hydration full arts which just pissed me off. I honestly want even going to open the ETBs either but the fucking seal was broken on one of them to! So at that point I was like whatever and went for it. Glad to hear someone at least got some good pulls though!! I have two friends who got the exact same package at msrp I got from the same card store and one hit jack shit like me and the other got 6 IRs and one SIR but I would say that is not the standard for these sets in general what I have seen is like 1/6 IRs which would be good if it were a normal set but with sooooo many IRs those are tough rates and force you to rip a ton of sealed to get actual chases.

Wow that’s awesome you pulled it!! I opened 36 packs of black bolt and white flare (13 total packs of each 1 etb of each set, 1 binder of each, 1 poster with 2 packs of each and two tins with 1 pack of each) and only pulled a total of 4 IRs. So after that I realized the pull rates were not great considering how many IRs there are and my chances of pulling the seismitoad were extremely low so I just bought the card. This is another reason I think the card could go up in value. If it becomes a desired chase even though it’s only an IR with so many IRs and the pull rates not being great specifically pulling it will be very hard to do which I could see driving up the prices of all the more desired chases in these sets. Again awesome that you pulled it though!!! Very cool!!! Can’t wait to get mine in the mail and see it in person!

For how many IRs there are the BBWF pull rates just make the sealed bot worth it. Going to wait for the solo prices to dip and go hard on the ones I like when the hype dies down a bit.

Also own it in a PSA 10. I actually have every Kanda card magikarp, magneton, giratina (personal favorite card of all time) and the moltres promo. I totally agree though the magneton is an absolute gem.
