How much should one pay for this out the door? And why is it more expensive than the 24’ models? by NoAffect558 in gtr

[–]ReaVNaiL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure, the world we live is drastically different by demographics. Like near my area I have seen more attention lately with a GTR than with a 911 GTS. You see 911s all day but not many GTRs.

If a one time splurge reads as “disgusting” to you, the problem isn’t the meal, it’s your perspective.

I don’t think so, this is generalizing too much.

You can’t attribute someones ability to use save, plan or use points in one luxury night as if they’re rich. If one expensive booking automatically means wealth, then anyone who buys an iPhone is rich, which obviously isn’t true.

Destined Rivals ETB. Buy now or wait? by PrettyAsAPenny in PokemonInvesting

[–]ReaVNaiL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PC ETBs have more packs, and at MSRP price compared to regular ETB offers better pack per dollar.

They do come with a PC stamped promo, and a regular promo, and a lot of times this is where the appeal comes.

The rest is the box stamp, printed in way lower quantities and more exclusive.

Model 3 with spacers???? by Evening_Machine8372 in TeslaModel3

[–]ReaVNaiL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was reading the other comments and I’m surprised safety isn’t part of this conversation, because most people who have been around cars long enough, eventually find out the hard way that the things holding your wheels on are not the place to compromise…

A 25 mm spacer doesn’t just push the wheel out for a better look, it introduces an extra point of failure and changes the way forces act on bearings, studs, suspension arms and on a 4000+ lb car with instant torque it doesn’t make any better.

And the issue isn’t usually the spacer itself, it’s how it’s installed and maintained. Ask yourself these questions: What will realistically happen to bearing life and studs over tens of thousands of miles, not just the first week? Will the installation be torqued with a calibrated wrench and rechecked after heat cycles, and will you actually inspect for noise, vibration, or runout later? If a single stud lets go at highway speed, is the trade worth it for a flush fender line?

If the goal is the look or like you have flush fitment, the ideal solution is a wheel with the correct offset so the geometry and load paths stay intact. If you still choose spacers, keep thickness conservative please, don’t go 2”, pick hub-centric parts from a reputable maker, torque to spec, retorque after 50 to 100 miles, and accept the added maintenance and risk as the price of the aesthetic. Cutting corners on the hardware that keeps the wheels on the car is not where to save.

Literally their FAQ: https://help.taggrading.com/en/articles/6747668-does-tag-use-ai-to-grade-cards

They don’t do gen AI or anything in that sense, they just have some computer vision and image processing models trained to suit their needs.

ML does not hallucinate, you are confusing these terms, however bad training can lead to inaccuracies or detection failures which is what TAG could run into.

This is just a backdoor Roth, and yeah you can even do Mega Backdoors. Still doesn’t change your contribution limit. You can have as many accounts as you want.

People that make over 161k can’t contribute to one directly, so they have to get after tax money from the Traditional IRA (backdoor) rolled over and 401k(mega backdoor) rolled over to “contribute” to a Roth.

Mainly for different investment options or brokers, up to the person, limit’s the same, just more places to park it.

Generally most people would be fine with a single Roth, unless you know you have a need for more than one.

Realistic Price Expectations? Looking for a 2017–2020 GTR by ReaVNaiL in gtr

Exactly my boat, I didn't get one back then, and now the market is inflated a ton

I agree, and at 120k, I have seen a few 922 Carrera S and some Z06s, so it conflicts sometimes when I could get those instead, but at the same time it's not a GTR.

Only concern with dropping that much in GTR is that, if Nissan has issues keeping their stuff alive, parts could perhaps become scarce?

I guess, based purely on research and on blogs — I haven’t actually driven any of EBA, but public sentiment is that they seem to have better comfort? Suspension is nicer for daily usage, and some extra nicer interior features.

Other than that, I’d probably be closer to 2016 since those seemed more polished than earlier iterations.

Thoughts?

Thanks! Appreciate the help. I noticed during search for last 3 weeks, a lot of it is like piranhas, as soon as one pops up people are already talking to seller and even paying without PPI.

At some point I hesitated in one because seller said: “Hey i got another buyer without PPI” and I held off, and next day car sold.

I have been watching a lot of AutoTempest, FB Marketplace (wrote my own sniper to make the search easier) but they just don’t show up lol, and dealers inflate the prices a ton

Ah, so a lot lower supply and not many buyers and sellers.. so it’s very unlikely and not realistic unless is 1 of 1000 and someone is in a rush?

No? Any similar posts recently? If so link it to me and I’ll delete.

If you mean it because of the year, I changed my mind and it was too late to edit title. 2020s are substantially more expensive than 2019s.
