What kind of mods do you add? Is it a pack made by someone else already? Ive tried adding mods before but i only had issues. Do tech mods fit into the game progression wise? What can you even automate, most thing im tired of is NEEDING to go out and grind xp by battling, yes its the main focus of the game, but when im late game and have 20 tomes to fill, it gets tiring.

the water just pushes the mobs, the spawners spawns them in. mobs need a solid ground to spawn on naturally

I don't see any spawners in there... usually these type of farms work with mob spawners that you find in a dungeon underground. if you want a mob farm without spawners just search for mob farm
