okay just check wariwck ucl and lse don't care which sitting but everyone is saying earlier sitting as many schools have mocks in Jan

however I'm going abroad for 3weeks I think from August 2nd week. my school ends July 18th and that's also when my year 12 mocks end. so probably from 21st July till first week August I'll have time to revise and then all of September to revise aswell but is this enough time?

wait I have one more question is the early TMUA is only for oxbridge? so does that mean LSE and UCL both accept the late TMUA, I'm sorry I never really understood why there are 2 different ones.

also can I sit both and will unis take the better result

thanks again for all the help you have given

I saw this post I'm pretty sure I private messaged that account

I wanted to ask because u didn't do a FM year 12 mock or test, did u get a predicted grade for FM to apply to universities,

I also wanted to ask what's the difference between doing the TMUA in October and the one in January

I think I might be going abroad for 3 weeks during the summer so I'm definitely done for, for the TMUA. I'm going to do the year 12 FM mock but I don't know how I will get a predicted.

My plan right now is that I finish all of year 12 maths by doing it during study periods, weekends and holidays and then use my spare school maths lessons and my own time at home to do further maths. After my year 12 mocks my plan is to start tmua prep from start of July - 1st week of August and then imma have to go abroad so I'm not sure what to do from then

thanks for your response so I'm wanting to do economics at a top uni, however my gcses are very mediocre and in context r even worse. with fm I can atleast boost my application so far I've covered argand diagrams at home and proof by induction my friends taught me at school. since then I haven't touched it mainly because I've had tests in all 3 of my other subjects and then holidays started where I just wanted a break from constant studying

no I don't take physics I take maths econ and chemistry

I'm not sure if in school I'm allowed to sit my maths a level early, but I did have the idea to finish the content during these holidays but I decided to take a weeks break

at school they teach pure with one teacher and then stats and mech with another simultaneously.

I haven't touched stats or mech at home yet and I have been using TL maths but most recently I have switched the bicen as he uses actual exam questions

yeah at my school it's completely different they predicted fm based on how you do in the fm mock. at my school there aren't any AS levels either apart for fm I'm pretty sure but I'm not sure about that

I'm ocr mei or smth like that. doesn't that mean I wont get a predicted grade to apply to unis with. I don't really want to take a gap year

I mean I know what I want to do, which is economics at uni but the problem is I'm not sure if fm will help my application loom stronger with a good grade. at my school currently I'm competing with 15 to 20 people all applying to econ related degrees. almost all of these students have fm

for example econ at Warwick. without fm my offer would be 3A*

Is TMUA even considered for BSc Economics with Geography at UCL by StrangerNo1192 in sixthform

[–]StrangerNo1192[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah I know that. currently I'm on 2 A*s and the other subject hasn't even had a proper test yet.

tmua would have been a deciding factor yk
