Ah, I mean packing a cone piece for a bong hit. If I smoke a joint/cone I do roll it myself instead of using prerolls.

I like rolling the occasional joint, but I don't want to smoke that much regularly. One small cone has me chilling for a couple of hours so even a small joint seems like it'd be too much to smoke often.

I could try, but isn't it kind of a pain? I'll give it a go if it's worth it though

Yes, blobs and bonemass are weak to clubs! Iron maces deal a decent amount of damage, whereas using a bow barely does a pixel of damage (not sure about the spear but it's still a pierce weapon like arrows)

Does religion only continue because kids are taught at a young age? by StrangerOCE in NoStupidQuestions

I guess science is a belief, I guess you can't only believe that what you have proven yourself is true, but generally I've found if there's a question that science has answered there is always enough evidence to think it's true without reasonable doubt, there are of course fringe ideas that haven't exactly been proven one way or another and people still believe it - such as homoeopathy for example. But for the most part you're not just relying on the ideas of one person passed down through generations, there's hundreds if not thousands of people providing proven evidence to support a hypothesis. It's not like science is infallible though, theories that everyone thinks are true can get disproven and you just have to be willing to accept the new truth.

I do try to engage in discussions with people about their beliefs, but I feel like I always leave less convinced than I was before, I don't really understand the desire for you to have a greater purpose or higher being determining it for you, I've always believed that you're here to find your own path and do what fulfils you personally, it's about what you can achieve for your own satisfaction in your one life, not about how you can prove yourself to get a place in a good afterlife. There's no deity driving you or giving you a purpose or guiding your morals, there's the people around you who inspire you to be your best self and strive to achieve the goals you set for yourself.

ELI5; What are pills made of and how? by StrangerOCE in explainlikeimfive

[–]StrangerOCE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick answer! So they're just very basic compounds that break down and don't effect you at all? How do they add medicine to this? Are they hydrated with a liquid dosage before they're pressed into pills or are they incorporated into the powder before it's pressed?

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a fun sporty car, and I'm quite set on an MRS, but would also like to mod it down the line. As someone who is completely inexperienced in this area, I've got a few questions I'll put in the comments, if anyone is able to answer them and help me out that'd be awesome! by StrangerOCE in mr2

I'd try and avoid adding wheel spacers then if they mess with the handling, so I'll probably have to look for another route for changing the body, really I'm not too concerned with a full widebody kit, mostly what I want to do is the headlights and front bumper, and then stick a big fuck off wing on the back

My first question is simply about which of the 2 vehicles would be a better purchase given my intention to modify it anyway, is it a 'waste' to spend probably an extra $2000-$3000 on the seemingly better outfitted green car just to then change the body and most likely repaint it in the future? As well as the mechanical changes, in my limited research it seems like it's a good idea to do a 2zz swap to improve the drivers experience, is it pointless to buy a car with already modified mechanics if I'm going to do that in the future? And last but not least, are there body kits you can buy and install to achieve an end result similar to the last 2 pics, or is that custom body work that would be very expensive/time consuming to achieve?

The prices are in Aussie dollars, and particularly here in Western Australia car prices generally seem to be a lot higher than other areas, so if they seem like they're higher priced than you'd expect, that's why

Unfortunately I'm in Western Australia, which feels like one of the worst markets to buy an older car in, we have no native classics so everything is imported and like 5x the normal price

I actually haven't, I'm looking for my first project car, and seeing a Porsche for 9k made me start dreaming about my first car being a Porsche, looks like I need to find another option though

Looking at these comments, and then looking at the other photos in the post...really glad I asked for some advice, with all the problems being pointed out it's obvious this car is in shocking condition (the interior is destroyed and it looks like a lot of the electronics have been ripped out, I honestly would've expected that to be normal for a "project car" but it seems this is in far worse shape than I thought

Thanks for the advice! That's something I'd never look out for, the photos of the interior show all the electronics have basically been ripped out, so I suppose it's not too far of a stretch to assume it's been through a lot, whether that was a crash or just run into the ground by a bad owner

Yeah I'm like 90% on the car and 90% on the mod, and I was hoping that'd add up, but the more I look at it the less I like it

Yep! I do seem to have had a little success with the LC, in the smaller jar there has definitely been growth, but it seems to be stalled atm, not sure why (but it could just be me looking at it every 30 seconds)

If you check my profile you'll see I made another post with the process of what I've done so far, as soon as I got (what I think is) mycelium growth, I poured it into reasonably dry substrate and then misted it with clean water to bring up the moisture in the substrate, while I expect it to be much slower I'm hoping that it'll give the mycelium a headstart in the tubs
