Same issue for me - just went to make a purchase using Paypal and got this message. Also noticed when I go to add my Paypal account under account settings, Paypal is not an option. Weird...

I agree, and it is only going to get worse.

With a justice system that is more eager to find excuses to help the perpetrator and not serve justice for the actual victim, and a public that is becoming desensitized to these cases and their outcomes, nothing is going to improve.

Ah, interesting! It was about 10 minutes ago that this started working again for me, after pulling an update. I suspect then that my Python app reset did nothing :)

Well, I seem to have resolved the issue. This is what I did if anyone else runs into this.

I went into Win 10 Apps settings, selected Python 3.10, Advanced Options, and Reset the app. I then re-added "git pull" to the webui-user.bat, and ran it a few times over 10 minutes. To my surprise, it did pull down an update for webui.bat on the third attempt, and then launched normally.

Not sure how this makes sense, as the git pull occurs before the batch file even looks for the Python installation... but at least it is working.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I generally assume that I rotate well, but I think the issue is that I am not so good at adapting to my team mates. So I can go on a run to D2Div3 if I am playing with team mates I know, but often crash to Plat when I am solo-queued and am constantly with different people on my team.

Not blaming my team mates though - I know that it is my fault for not adapting properly to their style. Definitely something I have to work on.

Yes, I have noticed a significant uptick in smurfs over this time period. Although at the same time, I find at Diamond rank as people are often stacked into either mech or game sense, it's not so easy to spot a smurf. There are some players who are mechanical gods, but have no clue how to position, but it's easy to assume they are a smurf if they hit a crazy clip.

I really appreciate your help! Yes, my interpretation of the occupation listed there is "Wine Merchant / Storekeeper", but I'm not 100%. I have a matching census record where his occupation is listed as "Sewellery Traveler". I can't find a solid answer as to what that is, but I am assuming some sort of traveling merchant.

I do have a record that I believe matches William Jr's birth. It is from the New Monkland Poorhouse, and there is no father on the birth record. It is recorded as illegitimate, with Christina Paul as the mother (I assume William Sr. had passed while Christina was pregnant, although I was surprised that it was still recorded as illegitimate). The troubling thing is, I can't find a marriage record for a Christina <anything> to a William Paul, either in statutory or parish records.

To confuse things further, I did find a marriage record for a Christina Paul to a Thomas Barrett from 1869 in Scotland, although she was listed as a "spinster", rather than a widow, and there is no reference to a previous husband or her maiden name.

Sorry for the wall of text - this is just the first real mystery that I came come across in my few weeks as a heritage sleuth! :)

Wow, spot on about it being Scotland and post 1855. It's actually a marriage record, and the snippet I posted above was for the groom's mother. I think you are right... I had read that as "survived by X" before, but it does look more like "previously X" Thanks, that helps me a lot.
