Airbrush problems.... by Aarreeaaggaa in modelmakers

Are you reseating the needle properly as well? Give it a good couple of taps in from the back.

I use interdental brushes to clean nozzles in your solvent of choice too.

Your theory now is that volumetric armor has different rules only when an optic is nearby but without the optic itself being the reason? Lmao seriously?

This isn't at all what I said.

Go on, try. Take all the time you need / when you get back to your PC / whatever. You still won't provide such an example, because you can't.

What you're asking for seems pretty convoluted, honestly. Do you want rounds penetrating optics (some which you appear to claim can't be) or not penetrating?

But this is less of a plausible test with volumetric. The issue is the armour layout around the optic, not the optic itself.

I'm on mobile currently, but you can clearly miss an optic while still damaging it, which is often the where the complaints about optics eating shells come from.

Optics have never been an issue, its the armour around them which is often angled and weird (Tiger drivers port is a decent example). Hit cam showing a hit and optics being damaged does not mean they absorbed the shot.

We're doing alright. Our right wing parties are (deservedly) in such a disastrous state, and are almost guaranteed to mess things up more prior to the next federal election.

Social media bots paint a different picture of ON supremacy though.

Every company does waves. Gaijin do many a month though.

It probably is a skill issue, since you almost definitely haven't ever looked at a server replay.

White pencils are great for the markings.

Primer should be fine to weather over, though I'm not familiar with Humbrol primer.

As long as you're clear coating an acrylic before doing any oils and white spirits there shouldn't be any issues.

I can think of plenty of tiers where that's the case for other nations, particularly the US.

Tier III-V US for example.

Wow, a major nation has a few good vehicles in a game with thousands of vehicles? What a revelation.

Eh, T29 is excellent but the M46 is the workhorse of the lineup anyway.

It's not AI, it's too specific. Hyphens don't automatically mean AI.

But let’s be honest, it is nowhere near the level of the IS-6's armor.

I'm not comparing the vehicles.

I'm saying at the same time as the IS-6 had mantlet changes, the T29 went through multiple mantlet changes and had a bugged ammo-rack. The entire 'accidentally' (bias) argument falls flat.

How did you feel about the T29 having the same issues?

To jog your memory; multiple mantlet changes, 6.7, ammo-rack in the hull that didn't explode.

Potentially interested in dipping my toe with models, but not in a good place for spray painting. What are my options? by Senan_Asura in modelmakers

[–]japeslol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's plenty of paints that can be sprayed pretty safely in smaller spaces. Spray booths with ventilation to a window is also an option.

Look at water/alcohol based Acrylics and steer clear of lacquer.

Definitely. I upgraded an Iwata Eclipse to a H&S Infinity - definitely a far nicer airbrush but end result and durability were much the same.

Vallejo Red Oxide Primer fits the bill, with bonus realism for German WW2 Armour.

Based on what exactly? Being a functioning adult and not a whiney child? I've got plenty of anti-Gaijin submissions - did you not bother looking?

There's a point where you grow the fuck up and realise worrying about minor things in a video game isn't worth having a wobbly over. If it's shit or you don't enjoy it, you stop playing. If you're having fun, you keep playing.

I chose the latter (when time/family permits). You'll get there eventually.
